If you are a fan of the Coliseum Ballroom (Tarro’s), then you might want to get today’s (Thursday) Alton Telegraph. Vicki Bennington, the reporter, did a terrific job! Some photographs as well. Some of Benld’s colorful history is also included! The story should be on The Telegraph website as well but it’s not there today yet. We’re promoting Build Benld and Ubben & Associates’ COLISEUM REVISITED dance coming up Saturday, February 25th. Last year’s MEMORIES OF THE COLISEUM dance was such a success it was decided that it needed to be done this year!

COLISEUM BALLROOM REVISITED! Dance to the music you listened to and danced to at the Coliseum Ballroom. The first “Coliseum Revisit” was such an overwhelming success; we’ve decided to do it again, Saturday, February 25th! Rich Lang and Gary McClain formerly of The Guild) were there the first time and are headlining this year’s event! Check out the poster for ticket information.

So, if you want one, let me know soon! You can order EITHER long or short sleeves. Colors are BLACK with white graphics, ROYAL BLUE with white graphics and GREY with white graphics. We had a party at the Gillespie Civic Center Saturday night! Sat., Feb. 20, 2016. Build Benld and Coliseum Documentary Project put it on, and boy did we throw one hell of a party! We called it "Memories of the Coliseum. The Ballroom Band (made up of great musicians who played the Coliseum in the 60's and 70's and still playing today) getting together to play tribute to Joyce Tarro and the Coliseum Ballroom--Tarro's. This 12 min. video gives a flavor for the upcoming documentary about the Coliseum, "Dance to the Music" that spans some 87 years starting in 1924! Enjoy and PLEASE SHARE!

on Saturday, October 19th at the Benld Civic Center,
sponsored by Build Benld. "A Fistful of Hollers" begins at 6pm with
Cocktail Hour where Actors of the Jest Murder
Mystery Company mingle with audience members (and
