The Major's Inn

The Major's Inn The Major's Inn was built in 1897 by the Gilbert Family, whose ancestors founded the village of Gilbertsville.

The family opened the house as The Major's Inn in 1904. It thrived as an Inn throughout the first half of the century, The Major's Inn is always looking for volunteer to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of this historic building. The Foundation is a non-profit, all volunteer organization.

Indoor Performance
Randy's Harptones is a music ministry of the Gilbertsville Baptist Church. The eight-member band uses a variety of harmonicas to entertain with audience participation. The band repertoires include bluegrass, folk, hymns, classical and patriotic songs.
