Friends of Lights on Rockville, we have some tough news to share. 💛 Michael is one of the pediatric cancer warriors that we've raised awareness for in recent years, and he's our biggest fan. Unfortunately Michael's family was just told his cancer has relapsed for the 5th time. ❤️‍🩹 Please help show his family your support through this difficult fight. No kid fights alone, let's show our support for this wonderful family. If anything please share the post. Thanks!

Unfortunately Michael has relapsed for the 5th time 😭
While we hate to be back on this journey after almost 2 years cancer free, we are thankful it is only one small spot in the pelvis bone. Michael will be admitted to the hospital on Friday to begin chemoimmunotherapy again. We don't know how many chemo rounds yet, but we pray that it clears quickly. After chemoimmunotherapy he will do more immunotherapy, then radiation. We are also contacting a Naturopathic oncologist for supplemental therapies alongside conventional treatment. Please pray for Michael's healing and for our family as we fight this again. It's hard to be separated so much and stuck in the hospital for a week at a time. Michael hates missing school with his friends and teachers, missing playing outside with cousins and missing family time. Above all, we trust the Lord and we know He is faithful 🙏 One of Michael's favorite worship songs is "The Lord will provide" and he and I have been singing it since we found out. We appreciate your prayers so much ❤️

Michael wanted me to share his favorite verse:
John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."

And the twins favorite verse:
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

🎄Friends/Neighbors, it's Opening Night at 5pm and we will be passing out 💚FREE HOT COCOA❤️!
🚨This year we will also be raising money for two pediatric cancer fighters! 🩷Our daughter's friend KyLynn Larkin was diagnosed with a brain tumor right before Christmas last year and has endured a tough battle of chemo and radiation. And also for our brave warrior Michael Esquivel, who's fought cancer 5 times in his young life! We thank you all for your amazing generosity shown to them!!

🎄If you want your house to smell AMAZING this season, keep a simmering pot of this on the stove or crockpot (while you’re home of course). I suggest getting a really cheap pot designated to this or crock pot bag, as it makes everything taste like “holiday” after it (or use a crock pot bag for your slow cooker).
*Also (spoiler) I give a bag every year to teachers/neighbors, and everyone seems to love it!

🚨Friends of Lights On Rockville, we have a new and important request for help. Right before Christmas one of our daughter's friends, KyLynn, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer.🎗️ She's a local 7th Grader at DMS and probably the kindest/sweetest human we've ever met! 🩷
She's just started her first rounds of chemo, and after chemo she will have 6 weeks of radiation. We wanted to ask for your support for this wonderful family as they start her battle to beat this cancer, which she undoubtedly will. It's a journey no kid should endure, it's especially challenging to watch such an amazing kid endure what she's going through.
💛 The emotional burden is something we can’t imagine. We want to try to help ease the financial burden so they can focus on Ky's care, while balancing her 3 siblings.
👉🏻Please, if you could even spare $5, it would help support his family through this awful time. And if anything, we are asking to be surrounded in prayer for complete healing.
