“We are just doing open seating.” Six things that happen next👇🏼

1. GUESTS HOVER Nobody wants to pick wrong. So they stand, holding a drink, waiting for someone else to sit first.

2. GROUPS GET SPLIT The first tables fill with fours and fives. Now a family of six is taking the last two seats at three different tables.

3. YOUR PEOPLE GET STRANDED Grandparents, guests who came alone, and anyone who arrives last are the ones left standing.

4. YOUR TABLE COUNT STOPS WORKING Ten tables of ten only works if guests seat themselves in tens. They will not. You either rent extra tables or run out of seats.

5. IT EATS YOUR DINNER WINDOW Self seating a hundred and fifty people takes fifteen to twenty minutes. That comes directly out of your dinner service.

6. YOU LOSE YOUR ONLY TOOL Every guest list has two people who should be across the room from each other. A seating chart is how you handle that quietly.

THE MIDDLE GROUND Assigned tables, open seats. You decide who sits together. They decide which chair.

After unexpectedly losing her mom, who was meant to be her business partner, Noelle remained determined to bring their shared dream to life. Eighteen years later, that love and purpose can still be felt in every event she caters.

Lindsey + Tyler’s wedding day was recently featured in Arizona Bride Magazine, and we couldn’t think of a better setting for their day than The Boulders Resort.

Surrounded by some of the most beautiful desert scenery Arizona has to offer, The Boulders gave us that perfect mix of elevated, intimate and unmistakably Arizona, while also feeling completely true to Lindsey + Tyler.

As avid golfers, choosing a venue where the course could actually become part of their wedding day made it even more personal. After signing their marriage license, the newlyweds celebrated the only appropriate way: by grabbing their clubs and teeing off together.

We love when a venue does more than provide a beautiful backdrop, it becomes part of the story. And this one absolutely did.

Such a special day for the KME planning team to be a part of, and so exciting to see it featured in Arizona Bride.

Lindsey + Tyler’s wedding day was recently featured in Arizona Bride Magazine, and we couldn’t think of a better setting for their day than The Boulders Resort.
