Growing up in South Phoenix, Arizona, CJ faced adversity at a young age, losing his father at the age of 9 and having to step up to help raise his younger siblings alongside his mother (which included cooking for them daily). However, it was in his mother’s juke joint kitchen that his passion for cooking truly ignited. After graduating from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in 1998, CJ pursued his

dream, turning his love into a profession. Today, he serves up delicious food with a smile, catering to events of all sizes. As an ordained Minister, CJ’s heart for service shine through in everything he does, inspiring him to give back to those in need, a true testament to his remarkable journey.
