Joe Negri was a jazz legend in a city with a long and deep jazz heritage he was also a television icon as a regular on WQED, Pittsburgh’s PBS outlet. Known mainly as “Handyman Negri” a character on the beloved “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood” children’s show. “Oh, to be able to experience the wonder and innocence of childhood once more.” I did not know Joe but did have the brief honor of meeting him a couple of times. He was 99 years old and just 2 weeks short of his 100th birthday. We love you,Joe and will cherish your memory for generations to come. ❤️😞💔😭JP.

Dear Friends,

The wonderful part of Summer is upon us this week! Sunshine, and comfortable temperatures;, WOW, these are the days to enjoy!

Allow me to invite you to a delightful evening of music this TUESDAY (June 2) 7:00 pm, at the Steamworks Creative Community Center, Rt. 8 in Gibsonia, PA, north of Pittsburgh.

It's The Steamworks Spirit Station, the weekly program of great music, inspiration, encouragement, and empowerment!

This week our musical guest is professional musician, and leader, guitar player, singer, songwriter, and Band Director, Mr. Mike Berkey!

Mike suggested I offer a message based on the Bible's Book of Leviticus. (In case you didn't know this is the book of laws!) How exciting! Well, believe it or not, we can find some interesting things even there, that may help us to cope with this crazy world, more confidently and effectively. (At the very least, it might be fun to come and watch me try!)

We would love to have you attend in person and make friends, but You may also tune in ONLINE, at the Steamworks Creative page, where the session will be broadcast LIVE!

If you plan to attend: there is NO ADMISSION FEE...ITS FREE!
Door opens at 6:30 PM.

You may bring your own snacks and beverages if you wish. (There are a few available at Steamworks for a modest donation.)

Steamworks is located in the middle of the Bardonner Square plaza, just above Bruster's Ice Cream Stand (where it is nice to go before or after!)

Lets get together this Tuesday, and come away, feeling and thinking "better" and looking forward more confidently, and less lonely! While you are at it, why not invite friends and family to join you/us?

Dear Friends,

May you enjoy a most blessed Memorial Day Holiday! Let us honor all those who served. Let us raise the flag and salute. Let us honor their memory, by honoring their values, and like them build and strengthen and protect these United States of America, and all we stand for, with integrity, values, love, hope, faith, and devotion.

Mr. Russian is and exrordinary singer, songwriter, guitar player, and leader with Mr. Mike Berkey of the BTP Band, of Band Together Pittsburgh (creating music with people on the Autism Spectrum)

He requested me to speak on "How to Chill Out".

(I'll bet you didn't know the Bible addresses this subject.)

I encourage you to tune in to hear about it. (who knew God thinks this is a good idea?

Attend live at the Steamworks Creative Community Center in the Bardonner PLaze, Rt. 8 William Flynn Highway in Gibsonia, PA, Just south of the PA Turnpike exit for Rt. 8 Butler, just north (uphill) of Bruster's Ice Cream.

Admission is Free.
