As a wedding officiant, I ask guests to put their phones away during the ceremony so the photographer can do their thing without screens (and elbows) getting in the way.

Well, one guest couldn’t resist 🤳😆

Instead of fighting it, our brilliant photographer leaned into it and captured a photo of the guest taking a photo….with a camera 📸

And THAT is why we trust the professionals! 🩷

Before the doors in the back of the room reopen….

Time seems to stand still.

I’m standing beside one partner, feeling the anticipation grow, and eyes are fixed on those doors.

Then, they open.

In an instant everything changes. The waiting is over. The excitement, the dreams, and the journey that led to this moment become beautifully real.

As a wedding officiant, I have the privilege of standing in that space between anticipation and forever. No matter how many ceremonies I officiate, that moment never loses its magic❤️

This beautiful intimate wedding at The Barn at Firestone Farms was captured flawlessly by JTate Design. The real showstopper, however, was the breathtaking florals. 😁 I was completely blown away by their fragrance - it was hard to concentrate on my script! The Floral Touch's arrangements were pure magic, filling the entire venue with an amazing scent.

Important Notice:

Can a wedding officiant decline to perform a ceremony on the wedding day? Absolutely!

Is a refund mandatory in such cases? Absolutely not!

Our contract includes a 'Refusal' clause, which stipulates we reserve the right to refuse services if our safety is compromised or if either partner is under the influence, thereby unable to comprehend the proceedings. Fortunately, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, working with couples who respect the sanctity of the ceremony and the contracts in place.

This serves as a reminder for all parties involved to thoroughly review contracts and maintain respect towards one another, including partners, family, friends, and vendors.
