This beautiful intimate wedding at The Barn at Firestone Farms was captured flawlessly by JTate Design. The real showstopper, however, was the breathtaking florals. 😁 I was completely blown away by their fragrance - it was hard to concentrate on my script! The Floral Touch's arrangements were pure magic, filling the entire venue with an amazing scent.

Important Notice:

Can a wedding officiant decline to perform a ceremony on the wedding day? Absolutely!

Is a refund mandatory in such cases? Absolutely not!

Our contract includes a 'Refusal' clause, which stipulates we reserve the right to refuse services if our safety is compromised or if either partner is under the influence, thereby unable to comprehend the proceedings. Fortunately, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, working with couples who respect the sanctity of the ceremony and the contracts in place.

This serves as a reminder for all parties involved to thoroughly review contracts and maintain respect towards one another, including partners, family, friends, and vendors.

After yesterday’s ceremony, I was approached by a young woman interested in exploring a career change and asked about becoming a Wedding Officiant. As shared some information, I realized just how far I've come since starting my own journey in 2020.

Not mentioned in our conversation was my prolonged period of deliberation, marked by repeated second-guessing.

My life's journey has been characterized by a mix of calculated risks and impulsive decisions, with varying degrees of success. The crucial thing to remember is that the outcome is never guaranteed without taking the first step.
