Hi Brunch Lovers! What a GORGEOUS morning, where I can finally wear my sunglasses and my hoodie at the same time. This is what weather dreams are made of. Chilly and sunny! ☀😎 It's going to be a beautiful day on Wednesday, too, and we have a few new things coming your way, so read to the end...

The Community Plate and VCSweets have you covered in all brunch dishes and baked goods, with a great mini Meal Bowl for the chilly temps, a twist on avocado toast, everyone's new favorite *Loaded Burger Bowl*, another muffin duo 4-pack, and what I'm most looking forward to: Brown Butter Apple Blondies! 🎃🍏

☕ First New Vendor: Be sure to join us at the cafe this week to give a warm welcome to our newest coffee vendor - Jenni G's () Mobile Lattes!! Jenna will be outside under a tent so you know we're there! She'll be slinging yummy coffee drinks and lattes this week, and her flavored latte menu will be posted here soon! Let's show Jenna what Brunch on Broad is all about!

🦅 Our second vendor this week will be BallingerBros. Clothes, brought to you by Gibbstown native, local teacher, and sports enthusiast, Meg Ballinger! She will have Bulldog merch for all our GTSD families to rock through winter, plus awesome, one-of-a-kind Eagles gear! All proceeds benefit Jalen Hurts medical bills. (Hehehe, jk, jk)

Well. Now what? 😭😅 I feel empty after the birthday celebration has come to an end. Be sure to join us at Brunch on Broad this week to keep the party going and enjoy this menu for this 93rd Menu Drop Monday (also, I know that each week because I number my prep sheets because I have something wrong with me)!!

The Community Plate switched some things up for the monthly menu from last week. I got rid of the Biscuits and Gravy and replaced it with another fun dish - the Breakfast Fried Rice. I changed up the Birthday Cake French Toast Bake to STUFFED, so give it a try in it's new form. The Bagel of the Week is not to be missed, plus I will have a few new things to grab-and-go in the fridge, I just don't know exactly what they are yet. Guess you'll have to stop by... 😏

VCSweets has a PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE that you'll want to pre-order because that won't last long. Plus a fun muffin pack, chocolate scones, and more! 🎃

The real party this week is we are having our friends at Thoroughbred Brew back in the lot!! If you're on Tiktok, be sure to go follow Jesi Kelley so you can get to know them and love all their content! 🐎☕

This is the WEEK!! 🎉🎈🎁 Lots of information coming at you in this post!!

🥹First and foremost, thank you all for your unwavering support in getting us to this point of TWO YEARS in business at the cafe! Here's your special BIRTHDAY menu, on this gorgeous Menu Drop Monday! Speaking of gorgeous, it's going to be an absolutely beautiful day on Wednesday, the weather will be perfect for waiting in line for your coffee fix, or grabbing seats outside. 😁

🥯The Community Plate is running it back, YET AGAIN, with the Biscuits and Gravy, because we can't have a celebration menu without our most-loved item. Since we love nothing more than to celebrate local small businesses, we are collab-ing with Old Town Bagel Swedesboro, NJ and bringing in their French Toast bagels for our bagel of the week with Pumpkin Pie Cream Cheese!

🍰VCSweets is not only bringing chocolate, cookie butter, AND confetti cake, but Val is also doing it. She's really doing it, guys. We're gonna have CINNAMON ROLLLLLS!!! Packs of two available. But they will. 👏🏼 not. 👏🏼 last. 👏🏼 so you have to be there early, early to get yours! I'm obsessed with this menu for you all.

🍪Jay's Baker's Dozen will be bringing cookie bags for you to enjoy again!! We can't wait to have them back, PLUS, there will be TWO chances to win trays of cookies!

☕And another moment we've all been waiting for: Strong Brew Coffee Co. is BACK IN THE LOT!! Our girls are ready and raring to serve the Gibbstown-area-community yet again. The line will be long all day, so leave yourselves time to get your favorites, and let's show them how much we've missed them!

🛍We have swag from local businesses in our swag-bag giveaway, free for the first 50 customers! There will be 25 extra bags to purchase if you'd like one and don't get the giveaway bag. They will be $5 and they may or may not have special surprises inside -- just the luck of the purchase if yours is the special one!

🎁We will also have: basket/prize raffles from local businesses like Dark Blue Bath & Home Co. and Jay's Baker's Dozen, and more; we will be a donation hub for Angels Community Outreach; and we will be taking donations with raffle ticket purchases for our school district's Gibbstown PTO; and Coco’s Cottage Candles will also have a table set up with her amazing candles, for all your holiday gifts!

I'm so sorry to have written a novel, but there's just so much fun stuff happening, and you won't want to miss it! ✅Lastly... there will be NO pre-orders this week. Full transparency, we just won't be able to keep up. So leave early for work to stop in before, or honestly, just take off work and hang with us all day. ☺️ I know I don't have to say it to all of you lovely people, but it is important: be KIND and PATIENT to those working this Wednesday! Greetings from Chicago, Brunch Lovers! ✈🦅⛅ While we gear up for the Eagles game tonight here in Chi-town, we didn't forget about posting a MENU DROP MONDAY for the last week of our September menu! Don't forget: NEXT WEEK 10/7, is our 2nd Birthday Party at Brunch on Broad! 🎈🎉

We missed you last week, and very much look forward to a day of SUNSHINE at the cafe this week. Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck will be back in the lot with a long list of delicious beverages, both hot and cold, for you to try through the day. Start the day with a cozy, aromatic hot drinks, finish with a crisp, refreshing iced creation, and then grab a frosty, indulgent frozen blend for the kids!

The Community Plate is bringing you one of my FAVORITE soups, plus a seasonal flatbread, perfect to start fall together. And you know I had to add another variation of Avocado Toast because you all love those so much!

VCSweets is leaning into the cooler months, too, with apple, pumpkin, cinnamon, and all the fall flavors, and I think I will be getting one of everything, yet again... (plus two or more of the cheesecake cups!) If you haven't tried the Espresso Dark Chocolate Scones, put them on your preorder list... a true must-have!

We MISSED YOU so much last week, and even though I have to get off a plane and head directly into the prep kitchen, I'll be ready just knowing I'm seeing everyone again on Wednesday! Don't forget to preorder your faves with the link in the comments. 🥰🤳☕️

A “Little Camper” is on the way! 🏕️🌳🪵

We celebrated a beautiful baby shower at our very favorite place, Broad & Maple, this past Sunday, and it was crowd-approved! Multiple guests were overheard saying, “this is the best food I’ve ever had.” 🥹🥹🥹

Hey Brunch Lovers! Happy Menu Drop Monday to those who celebrate! It's a beautiful day to start making your brunch plans for Wednesday. Here's what's going on this week...

🍅The Community Plate is bringing you a fan-favorite mini Meal Bowl of Vodka Cutlet Caprese pasta, and if you haven't tried a mini Meal yet, definitely add it to your order for a quick dinner for one (or two kids!) on these busy weeknights! You can combo-up your soup again this week with a spicy grilled cheese, too!

🍰VCSweets has another muffin 4-pack, and this week is two popular flavors (aren't they all, though?) for you to take home! I still have one left from last week, and I can confirm, it's still as fresh as it was on Wednesday. Give something different a try, and get a Strawberry Pistachio Cheesecake Cup - what a great combo!
