Hurricane Delta and all of the rain and wind it brought didn’t get our October 10th couple down! As with other changes they had to make throughout their engagement this couple handled it with grace and ease. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Deanna and Zack- a big congratulations again to these newlyweds🥂As well, it was wonderful working with their event planner Lindsay .events.nc

Tonight’s weather has us wanting to get outside, gather by a fire and eat s’mores! Anyone else have a love/ hate relationship with the lingering smell of a fire pit??! The Poplars at Bearwallow Mountain has not one one but TWO fire pit areas for you and your people to gather around during your extended stay wedding weekend. Congratulations to one of our August couples, Kelsey and John! We thoroughly enjoyed working with this couple over the past several months. What a joy to witness the cheers of their family and friends as the sun shone through right as they shared their vows after hours of pouring rain!

This venue was perfect for our intimate ceremony. The adventurous drive up the mountain is rewarded by breathtaking views and a tranquil privacy that you wouldn’t be able to find at most venues. We enjoyed having the days before the ceremony to spend time with our families in the beautiful cottage...

It’s been a very strange year to be a new wedding venue! Thankful for an outdoor, open air event Pavilion where we can host reduced sized weddings and receptions as we all navigate through 2020. Despite a heavy rain all day yesterday the sun decided to shine brightly just as our couple said their “I do’s” and it was just magical! Cake and miniature cheesecakes in this video by . Let me tell you her cheesecake is to die for!

This spacious deck at Bearwallow Retreat offers a great space to host your day after brunch or small rehearsal dinner at no additional cost. Gorgeous views, a gas grill and a hot tub (not pictured as this was taken prior to installment). We allow up to two events per extended stay wedding weekend, no need to pay for an additional venue!
