I have never believed a wedding should be about impressing everyone. I’ve always believed it should be about taking care of everyone.

That’s probably why I care so much about the little things- the couple who looks at each other before answering, the vendor who needs an extra hand, the guest who hasn’t said what they need yet.

It’s also why I don’t believe you should spend money you don’t have just to have a wedding that looks impressive in photographs.

The best weddings Ive been part of aren’t necessarily the most extravagant.

They’re the ones where everyone feels welcome, cared for, and happy to be there.
