Vulnerable post incoming……
If you really know me, you know I take great pride in my photos sessions. My holiday sessions (Santa and no Santa) are truly an experience with 2 sets, snow machine and extra special touches (IYKYK)! Today, Mother Nature truly made me feel so defeated that it brought me to tears & broke me in a way I have never experienced in all the years of me doing photos. I am an outdoor photographer so dealing with weather is to be expected! But today, was on a whole other level…. It was so bad I had to do something I never expected I would ever have to do….throw in the towel after the first session because the super high winds actually broke my props and I could not give my clients the full santa experience I am known to provide at my sessions! The saving grace today was my REMARKABLE Santa! He has a Santa studio we were able to pivot with very short notice and move all sessions from today there! Grant it that it wasn’t my full setup of everything I can offer, but I was able to turn lemons into lemonade & capture these Santa photos for families! I am VERY grateful to all of my families who were flexible and extremely understanding today! Want to thank my husband for all of his help, encouragement and support! No way I could pull off any of this without him! Wachter Wellness Co. for their continued generosity of allowing me to host my holiday sessions on their property and their help! Very grateful to you both more than you know! THANK YOUUUU!!!!
Gonna take some time for me to forgive Mother Nature for today 🤣 Need a stiff drink, my bed and time to decompress!!!
