Even before it's opening in July 2015, planners were booking space at Weborg 21 Centre. We had long envisioned this project as a new, fresh, spacious, multi functional, versatile, and exciting event center providing the region with a non- traditional, beautiful and refreshing alternative to the carpeted rectangles and out of date environments out there. We worked with a diverse team of local profe

ssionals to expand, restore, and re-purpose an abandoned warehouse. Now complete, the structure fully integrates organic bricks, mortar, and exposed beams of yesteryear with state-of-the-art audio, visual, wi-fi, and culinary innovations geared to meet challenges of the future. ✨ Meet the Team Monday ✨

Say hello to Jared! Weborg 21 Centre is a family affair, and Jared has been part of it from the start. He’s grown into one of the biggest pieces of our catering team, known for his dedication, versatility, and personality that makes the work as enjoyable as the food.

Jared’s journey started in farming and took him through packing houses, sawmills, and meat shops before his family bought the Steel Grill. There, he worked and cut meat before making the move to the Weborg 21 Centre when we opened in 2015. In those early years, Jared split his time between both places — helping us with caterings at the Centre while continuing to cut meat for the Steel Grill. Before long, he took the reins in the kitchen and became our go-to for catering.

At W21, Jared has truly become our meat master. From cutting and trimming to seasoning and cooking, he brings years of experience to everything he prepares. He’s especially known for his hand-cut steaks and our famous cheesy potatoes. Beyond events, Jared also handles special orders of steaks, hamburger, and prime rib through the Centre — just one more way he goes above and beyond to serve our clients and community.

On top of that, Jared oversees all of our ordering and catering, spearheads event security, keeps our laundry running, and is our go-to haul-it guy whenever something needs picked up or delivered. And when a project calls for a little experimenting (like dyeing drape fabric to get the perfect color), Jared is the first to roll up his sleeves and make it happen.

Outside of work, Jared is a proud dad to his daughter Aleigh, a sophomore at Colorado State University. He loves cooking, puzzling, playing competitive Solitaire, and spoiling the Weborg 21 “kiddos.” And after a long day of keeping things running, you can usually catch him relaxing with an ice-cold Coors Light. 🍻

From the kitchen to the community, Jared’s skills and energy set the tone. He helps ensure that W21 is a place where celebrations are full of flavor, fun, and unforgettable moments.

✨ Meet the Team Monday ✨

Say hello to Gary — or as many know him today, DJ Gary! He’s been part of the Weborg 21 Centre team since 2018, but his event career goes back much further. In the 90s, he was “The Fabulous Gary U” on the radio, and for more than 30 years, he’s been a mobile DJ and wedding planner, keeping dance floors full and couples smiling.

At W21, Gary wears many hats. He helps clients with event bookings and planning, keeps us on beat with paperwork and technology, and takes the lead on our ads and signage. He also lends a hand with social media and is one of the key people behind our Bridal Shows — from the Bluffs Bridal Show to the successful 2024 and 2025 events, with 2026 already in the works.

Gary is our go-to DJ at W21, bringing the music, the energy, and the timing that make events unforgettable. On top of that, he also shares his photography skills, capturing décor, details, and dance floor fun — many of which we feature right here on our socials.

Beyond W21, Gary continues to run his business, The DJ Music System, and has worked hundreds of weddings, proms, and dances. His mix of experience, creativity, and steady presence ensures that with Gary, every event finds the right rhythm, stays polished, and full of fun.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys cooking (which we love, because sometimes we get to be his taste testers at work 😉). He also can be found taking his dogs for walks and watching cooking shows to inspire new recipes.

What makes Gary stand out most is the way he shows up for clients. From the first booking to the big day, he’s there to make sure everything comes together seamlessly. He truly is a vital part of the W21 experience, and we’re so grateful for all that he brings to our team and our clients.

Happy Anniversary to Anna and Bryce!!

3 years ago today we were in breathtaking Moab, Utah to celebrate their wedding at the Red Earth Venue. The 8 hour drive there and packing up lots and lots of decor was worth every mile! So many memories, stories, and good times from this wedding that we love to reminisce about.

From the rehearsal, to the set up on the wedding day, 104 degree ceremony on top of a mountain (and yes, they brought fans and cold bottles of water for the guests) to all the fun and dancing that night, we were thrilled to be a part of their wedding day.

Some love stories come full circle — and this weekend, we got to see one unfold in the most beautiful way.

Years ago, this couple posed for prom photos in front of our brick wall. On Saturday, they returned to celebrate their dream wedding in the very same place. 💛

Wedding Tip Wednesday - Outdoor vs. Indoor Wedding

Having your ceremony and/or reception outside or inside is a big decision, but let’s break it down and talk about the pros and cons. Whether you are basing where to have your ceremony or reception on previous weddings you’ve been to, or maybe you’ve seen a lot of pictures on social media that is steering you in one direction or the other, deciding on the location is something to really think about.

Outdoor ceremonies can be amazing with a beautiful background, sky, natural light, and fresh air. They can also be a challenge with heat, direct sunlight, wind, rain, storms, etc. We’ve seen both sides of this with ceremonies. If you’re planning an outdoor ceremony in the summer, plan on having bottles of water on ice and even some handheld paper fans for your guests if it’s hot that day. We've seen beautiful weddings where brides and grooms provided these items for their guests and everyone that attended appreciated them and made for a much better outdoor experience.

Have a backup, indoor plan just in case! Weather can change quickly, and a nice, sunny day can turn into a windy day with rain, lightning, and storms. So, we highly recommend having a backup indoor plan in the event of weather becoming an issue. This will not only be super helpful for everyone who is a part of and attending your wedding, plus it will give you great peace of mind. Watch the weather, plan accordingly, and if it looks like the weather could get bad, make the choice in advance to move it to the backup indoor plan. If you are planning to have your reception at the Weborg 21 Centre, we are always a backup plan should you be planning an outdoor ceremony.

Indoor ceremonies offer many benefits; protection from the weather, air conditioning, and extra peace of mind, knowing everything and everyone will be inside. While you might not have the natural light for photos, you won’t have to worry about wind blowing your décor or hair around during the ceremony, or possibly getting rained on while saying your “I dos.”

Many of these same things can be said when it comes to your reception, as well. Sure, you may have seen beautiful receptions under the stars and everyone outside dancing the night away. However, wind and storms can happen and totally change that experience. Plus, if bad weather happens on your wedding night, your band or DJ will most likely have to stop, unplug, and cover equipment…and may end the night early. We’ve seen this happen, so just like with your ceremony, have a backup indoor plan just in case. Or, simply plan on an indoor reception and know that you’ll be protected from the outdoor elements, enjoy dinner, cake, and dancing in the air conditioning or heat if it’s in the cooler months.

We don’t bring all of this up to cause any worry, but a lot of times when we talk with couples, we will hear the phrase “we didn’t even think of that” when going over plans. So, we always like to speak from experience and offer help, guidance, and ideas.

Inside or outside, celebrate your wedding day, just have a backup plan in place. You’ll be glad you did!
