There is no exact formula for a beautiful wedding. Some couples want timeless and soft, some want bold and dramatic, some want something romantic and delicate, and some just want to break all the rules and make it feel like them.
At this last wedding, purple was main character— and honestly, it owned the room. 💜
Purple has such a complicated personality for a color. It can be delicate and dreamy in lavender, deep and romantic in violet, rich and luxurious in darker shades. It carries a little mystery, a little drama, and a lot of creativity. It has historically been connected with royalty and luxury, but in weddings I think it can say something even more personal: we wanted something different, something memorable, something that feels like us.
And I loved watching that color move through the entire wedding — through the flowers, the details, the atmosphere — without feeling like it was simply a “color theme.” It became part of the mood.

For a man, seeing his woman as a bride is not just about how beautiful she looks.
I think it becomes one of those moments he carries with him for the rest of his life.
That first look… her smile, her eyes, the way she looks at him knowing that this is the person she chose to spend her life with. He will remember that sparkle.
And maybe, without even realizing it, he will keep that moment somewhere in his heart.
For the hard days.
For the days when life gets heavy.
For the moments when marriage is not as easy as it was on that beautiful morning.
He will remember her exactly like that.
The woman he fell in love with.
The woman standing in front of him.
The woman who made his whole world stop for a second.

One of my favorite things about this venue is that it isn’t just where you say “I do.” It’s a place to truly experience. Arrive the day before, celebrate without feeling rushed, wake up as newlyweds, stroll through the gardens with your morning coffee, and take in every moment together. Your wedding deserves to be more than a few hours—it deserves to be a weekend you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
