The most priceless moment is when people gather to witness one of the most important moments of their lives—the moment two people promise to choose each other, in love, for the rest of their lives.

We are getting ready for fall and I already know it is going to be one of those seasons that disappears before we even realize it started.
There will be brides running around with a hundred little things in their heads, flowers arriving at the last minute, dresses hanging somewhere they shouldn’t be, someone looking for a missing earring, somebody crying, somebody laughing too loudly, and in the middle of all of it — a beautiful day happening.
I love that part.
Not only the pretty photographs, but everything that happens around them. The people, the nerves, the small accidents, the flowers, the conversations, the things nobody planned for and somehow remembers years later.
We are also working on some beautiful collaborations with local people this fall, and I am very excited about those. I always liked the idea that a place becomes more than a place because of the people who put their hands into it.
So, if you are still looking for where to have your wedding, maybe this is your sign.
And if you have a friend who keeps saying, “We still need to find a place,” send them our way.
We will be happy to talk, show them around, and see what we can make together.

Fresh from the orchard, made with love, and filled with the sweet taste of summer in every jar. It doesn’t get much more farm-to-table than this!

There is no exact formula for a beautiful wedding. Some couples want timeless and soft, some want bold and dramatic, some want something romantic and delicate, and some just want to break all the rules and make it feel like them.
At this last wedding, purple was main character— and honestly, it owned the room. 💜
Purple has such a complicated personality for a color. It can be delicate and dreamy in lavender, deep and romantic in violet, rich and luxurious in darker shades. It carries a little mystery, a little drama, and a lot of creativity. It has historically been connected with royalty and luxury, but in weddings I think it can say something even more personal: we wanted something different, something memorable, something that feels like us.
And I loved watching that color move through the entire wedding — through the flowers, the details, the atmosphere — without feeling like it was simply a “color theme.” It became part of the mood.
