ZuZu’s Petals, named after ZuZu Bailey, the daughter of Jimmy Stewart in the holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, began over 9 years ago in the basement office of the Kindred Oaks wedding venue and has now grown to be a bustling floral studio that has been featured in recent blogs, magazines and events. In 2009 we moved from our tiny basement studio to a brand new building. Our excitement was stunned for a moment when on an early morning in February of 2010, our darling shop burned to the ground. But, just like the damaged petals of ZuZu Bailey’s rose, we swept away the debris and created our second shop that turned out even better than before! Only 4 short months after the fire, the brand new ZuZu’s Petals Austin re-opened its doors and has never looked back!
