Just playing Halo creek side when I had an idea. What if I take this submersible pump and drop it into this cold mountain creek. Follow my experiment and see water temps about 20° cooler pumped into the CPU waterblock. I show the different water and CPU temperatures of both closed loop watercooling and open loop creek cooling. The biggest benefit was water temps immediately dropped back to creek temp after a stress test because I was not circulating the same thermal mass from the closed loop watercooling setup.
Would I try this again? I might add a carbon filter or better filter, but yes, absolutely I would do this again.

Fall on Guanella Pass
The golden colors are starting to show on Guanella Pass. The trees are changing color from green to yellow to brown and crispy. The summer drought and early September snow has put the alpine trees into fall overdrive. Enjoy the short fall season before the upcoming unseasonably cold winter.

The Aspen trees are well on their way to fall. The trees are changing early this year as the drought has stressed the trees and an early September snow storm has put the fall colors into over drive. Leaves are nearly changing from green to brown and crispy.

The smokey sunset from the top of Genesee by lookout mountain. Wild fires on the western slope of Colorado have made for very red sunsets lately. The smoke completely blocked out the sun when it was about 20 minutes later.

Chicken Parmesan in motion time-lapse.
I will always remember this recipe after working at an Italian restaurant for years as a cook. While most people think chicken or eggplant Parmesan are difficult recipes, they really only have a few ingredients. I usually don't measure anything out and adjust the ratio of each to your specific taste.

To capture this video I used several motion control rigs including Dynamic Perception slider, pan\tilt head and custom focus motor. For most of the close-up clips I inverted the slider so the pan/tilt head was under the slider.

Sauce:
1 Diced Onion
Fresh Basil Bunch
Garlic
28oz can of Italian Tomatoes
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Red Pepper Flakes
Bay Leaves (optional)

Breading:
Fresh Parsley
Parmesan or Romano Cheese
Garlic
Salt & Pepper
Bread Crumbs

Cash Register Moon
A photo of the full moon in early May. This photo is a composite of two images. A long-exposure of the Downtown Denver skyline before the moon rose, and a short exposure of the moon when it was behind the cash register building.
I planned this using The Photographers Empheris to get the exact allignment of the moon.
