2025 Trick or treating in Georgetown was just as successful as it was fun!
We have so many to thank for helping make this event possible!
Thank you to
Georgetown Divide Recreation District for helping organize the event, including providing candy and money drop off containers as well as getting the road closure, star volunteers and portable toilets!

We are so thankful to everyone who donated candy or $ for candy as well which includes
U-Haul
Rotary
St. James Catholic church and
our
AMAZING COMMUNITY MEMBERS!

Thanks to Mar-Val, Holiday and Georgetown library for hosting candy donation bins.

Thanks to the volunteers who participated by setting up a table to hand out candy or those who handed out candy from their homes.

Thanks to Garden Valley Feed for their generosity by letting us borrow hay bales to provide resting places around town.

Thanks to Royal Septic for providing the portable toilets.

Thanks to Murchies Smog and Repair for flawlessly organizing main street trick or treating and offering to send any extra candy they might have if church street ran out.

Thanks to Georgetown Fire Department for allowing us to borrow cones to use for the road closure and also to the Star Volunteers who helped keep everyone safe!

Lastly, THANK YOU to everyone who brought their families out to be part of an amazing family friendly community event. It sure feels like we're all one big family every year.

We can't wait to see you all again next year!

Reminder:
Halloween is right around the corner and we can't have trick or treating on church st (or main street) without the communities generous donations!

For church street. We have about 19 bins that need to be filled to have enough for the night. We currently have ONE bin filled.

I know main street will need plenty of donations as well! The donation location for main street is at Murchies Smog and repair.

It's that time of year again! Please help us make Halloween Trick Or Treating full of magic and joy for the youth in our amazing community!

The candy donation collection bins are out at the following locations:

🎃 Holiday Market in Cool
🎃 Mar-Val food stores in Georgetown and
🎃 inside the Georgetown Library

It's that time of year guys!

Candy donation bins are located at Holiday Market in cool, Mar-Val in Georgetown and The feed/hardwardware store in garden Valley.

There are also monetary donation jars at holiday and marval.

Please help us make this another successful and amazing night of trick or treating for the kids in our community.

Murchies Smog and repair also accepts cabdy donations for main street. We encourage you to donate for both streets.
Murchies will be closed on certain dates this month and candy can be donated for main street at Divide Auto Parts next to Murchies.

We would like to thank our community for helping make Halloween night so awesome! All your donations made it happen for our kids.
A special thanks to Rotary for donating $300 worth of candy, Royal septic for donating the portable restrooms and Garden Valley Feed for letting us borrow hay bales!

Another special thanks Georgetown Divide Recreation District for making sure the road was closed, portable restrooms were there and helped make sure we all had enough candy for every kid! As well as Murchies Smog and repair for making it all happen on main Street as well!

Please help us make this year's Halloween in Georgetown special for the children in our community by donating candy for the homeowners to hand out to all the trick or treaters! You all killed it last year and I'll bet you'll knock it out of the park this year!
