Rhea BBQ had a pretty good day yesterday at the Gatesville Shivaree cookoff, we managed a 4th place chicken, 2nd place rib, and a 1st place brisket good enough for Reserve Grand Champion. Congrats Ernest Sevantes with his Grand Champion and to all that walked!

Happy New year everyone, we hope everyone had a great holiday season. We will be out at the Activities Complex in Gatesville this Sunday around 11:00 am selling brisket tacos during the weigh in of the predator hunt. We also will be taking orders for brisket tacos to be ready Saturday night. There will only be 25 so order early. See ya soon 254-223-2000

Here is a pic of our 3rd place entry at Bacon Bash TX yesterday. Smoked bacon wrapped sweet potatoes with whipped cream and a pecan praline bourbon brown sugar glaze! The judges also got a shot of pecan praline whiskey with a strip of chocolate dipped bacon :)

2017 Bacon Bash Texas is in the books. We pulled off a 3rd place finish in a field of amazingly talented cooks! This event is hands down a truly genuine pleasure to be associated with!

We will be catering a high end dinner tonight for a guest list of people that are truly amazing inside and out. We are honored to be selected to serve them. Menu tonight is a walk through the garden of fresh veggies to start, main course is prime filet mignon, twice baked potatoes, and bacon wrapped asparagus. Dessert is grilled fresh peaches with a bourbon/ butter/brown sugar glaze and maple gelato! We don't just BBQ we cater every occasion!
