What do you get when you mix rainy weather with dinosaurs? A ROAR-some adventure! 🌧️

Even though Mother Nature tried to make us all a little soggy yesterday, nearly 40 brave future paleontologists joined us at the Belmont Branch Library to explore the incredible world of fossils!

Together we uncovered the stories behind:
🦖 Nanotyrannus
🦖 Tyrannosaurus rex
🦕 Velociraptor
🦕 Triceratops
🦕 Stegosaurus

Then we took a prehistoric dive into ancient oceans to discover:
🌊 Fossilized coral
🦐 Trilobites
🦈 Megalodon
🐊 Mosasaurus
🦖 Spinosaurus (the dinosaur that spent time on both land and in the water!)

Watching so many curious kids ask questions, make discoveries, and get excited about science is exactly why we love what we do. The future of paleontology is looking bright!

A huge THANK YOU to the Belmont Branch Library for inviting us out. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back for more prehistoric adventures!

What a ROAR-some afternoon we had yesterday at the Mt. Holly Branch Library's T-Rex Tea Party! 🦖🫖

The room was filled with smiling faces, giggles, and brave little dinosaur fans who came ready for a prehistoric adventure!

Flossie had an amazing time meeting everyone with her handler, Chip. We were also excited to introduce Izzy, who made her very first public appearance with her handler, Kristi! And Lindsey brought Blue, our adorable baby Velociraptor, who quickly won over everyone's hearts.

A huge THANK YOU to the Mt. Holly Branch Library for inviting us to be part of such a fun event. We loved seeing the excitement, curiosity, and joy on all the children's faces. You made our day just as much as we hope we made yours!

Don't worry if you missed us yesterday... you have another chance to meet the babies!
