There’s something magical about a wedding rehearsal - the nerves, the laughter, the “Wait, which side do I stand on?” moments. As a planner, watching all the pieces come together and seeing those nerves start to melt away is one of the biggest wins. 👏🏼

Hello again, social media! 👋🏼

I figured it was time for a little reintroduction after my unintentional social media hiatus. 🤪

I’m Taylor, the face behind OG Event Planning. I work a 9-5 in the marketing world, which can sometimes lead to a mini posting break on my personal business pages - but when I’m not at my desk, I’m usually meeting with couples, touring venues, or coordinating all the moving parts that make a wedding day run smoothly (my personal favorite).

Contrary to my introverted inner thoughts… let’s share a few fun facts!

💗 I planned my parents’ surprise vow renewal when I was 15—just for fun! Who knew that passion would follow me all these years later?

💗 I married my husband, Tyler, almost exactly three years ago. We’ve been together for nearly 9 years, and you’ll sometimes spot him behind the scenes on wedding days keeping things running smoothly.

💗 Outside of weddings, my mom and I run a candle company together (yes, I’m juggling a few things!). I love when both creative worlds overlap. There’s something super special about working alongside your best friend.

💗 When I do have free time, you’ll find me baking sourdough, hiking with Tyler, traveling, or curled up with our two doodle dogs and our orange tabby.

I’m almost fully booked for 2025 and have limited availability in 2026—so if you’re planning your big day, I’d love to chat!

It’s time to welcome another precious couple to the OG fam! 👏🏼

Trevor proposed to Charlotte on Christmas Eve 2022. After years of friendship and on-and-off talking, he finally gathered the courage to ask her out, despite believing she was out of his league. Six years later, they’re thrilled to take this next step together. They enjoy playing ping pong, competing at arcades, spending time with friends, family, and their two fur babies, and making memories for Charlotte’s scrapbooks. 🥹🩷

I cannot wait for Charlotte and Trevor’s beautiful fall wedding at Caitlyn Farms! 🎉

Craig spent three months designing Kelci’s engagement ring, carefully crafting it to include his birthstone alongside the diamond. Talk about meaningful details! 💍✨ I can't wait to help bring their vision to life!

Ever wonder where the name OG Event Planning came from? Let me tell you! 🥹

One of my favorite moments from our wedding day: the joining of two families. It’s also where the inspiration for OG Event Planning comes from! The 'O' represents my married name, and the 'G' is a nod to my maiden name.

Together, they symbolize the merging of the most important people in my life. It is two parts of who I am, brought together just like our families. Every wedding or event I plan, holds that same love and connection, and I can’t wait to help create these same moments for you. 💗🫶🏻

✨ Madison + Gary ✨

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. This couple is extra special to me because Madison is my best friend. 🥹 (I guess Gary is pretty cool too. 🤪)

Madison and I met in college and have been inseparable ever since. Having a small role in her Colorado proposal meant the absolute WORLD to me and now I cannot believe it’s time to plan her wedding. There is just something extra special about seeing your bestie’s dreams come true. 🫶🏻 I could not be happier for her!!

Now, the reason you are really here…let’s introduce Gary and Madison to the OG Fam! They started dating in high school and have been together for NINE years. They are one of those couples that everyone wants to be around. They are laid back, fun, always down for an adventure, and truly bring out the best in each other. Let’s get you married, M! 💗🫶🏻

Let’s introduce Karyn and Adam to the OG Fam! 👏🏼

This one is special to me because Karyn is not just any bride, she is a sweet friend of mine! 🫶🏻 I am BEYOND excited (and honored) to have a role in their September wedding. Let’s see if this wedding planner is going to be able to hold back the tears! 😭🥹

Also..I absolutely love when couples get engagement photos taken in a place that is special to both of them. These photos were taken on Karyn’s farm and will be something they cherish forever. 🫶🏻

Their beautiful June wedding was intimate, meaningful, and full of so much love! The glass chapel was straight out of a DREAM and became the perfect location for their precious ceremony. 🫶🏻 I will forever remember their ceremony where the bride’s sister officiated and absolutely blew it out of the water! Oh, and did I mention the bride made her own cake??Sweetest. Wedding. Ever. 👏🏼
