Fresh flowers are back at Annie’s in Brandon and Quartzite Coffeehouse in Garretson this morning!

We’re still squeezing a little more out of flower season, and these bouquets are packed with dahlias!

DAHLIA BOUQUETS AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER!

The dahlias are still looking great, but with a chance of frost in the forecast, we’re making the most of these last beautiful blooms!

And with Boss’s Day this Friday, a fresh bouquet of dahlias might be just the thing for your favorite boss (or, you know, yourself 😉).

Our Deluxe Wrapped Dahlia Bouquets will feature 7–8 dahlia stems, packed with the color and variety these flowers have to offer.

With colder temps in the forecast, these are most likely some of the last fresh flowers of the season. If you’ve been meaning to grab a bouquet, today’s a good day to do it!

Would anyone actually be interested in a seed-saving workshop?

We’ve been tossing around the idea of hosting a little Seed Saving 101 workshop at the farm next Saturday, but before we put the work into planning it, we want to know if there’s actually any interest!

We’d spend some time out in the flower field learning when and how to collect seeds, then come back in and get hands-on with cleaning, drying, winnowing and storing them.

We’re thinking we’d work with some of the flowers we’ve grown this year — zinnias, basil, celosia, amaranth, cosmos and more — and everyone would get to process some seeds and take home their own little collection to plant next year.

Nothing too formal or intimidating. Just a couple hours of playing with dried flower heads, getting seeds everywhere, and learning how to save a little bit of this year’s garden for next year.

Who's ready for the perfect fall day trip to Garretson this Saturday, October 3?

Looking for a little fall adventure? We've put together a full day of good food, beautiful scenery, fresh flowers and all things fall. And the best part? You don't have to travel far to enjoy it all!

☕ Start your morning at Quartzite Coffeehouse. Grab a coffee and breakfast to fuel up for the day. Their sourdough scones are worth the stop!

🥾 Get outside and explore. Take a hike through Devil's Gulch and Split Rock Park. Between the fall colors, unique rock formations and beautiful views, it's a great way to spend a fall morning.

🍔 Stop for lunch. Head to The Gulch or The Combine to grab a bite and recharge before the afternoon adventures.

💐 Make your way out to see us at Two Little Bees Family Farm! Pick your own bouquet of flowers, take a picture with the pumpkin barn and do a little fall shopping. There's something pretty special about bringing home a bouquet you picked yourself!

🎃 Keep the fall shopping going at Reker Farms Farm Stand. Stock up on fresh vegetables, find a few more pumpkins and maybe grab something seasonal for the kitchen.

🍦 Satisfy your sweet tooth at The Study. Stop in for a little afternoon treat. After all, no fall day trip is complete without something sweet!

🍷 Finish the afternoon at Humble Hill Winery. Slow down, relax and enjoy a glass of w**e while you wind down from a full day of exploring.

From coffee and hiking to pumpkins and pastries, Garretson has plenty to fill a perfect fall day.
