A full day of bar setup but my heart is happy. The bar is ours but desserts here and the room decor done by others. Troyer’s looked amazing - they did a great job with the outside alter and inside tables. I donated some of our signature drink flowers to the cake when there was a mistake and flowers had not arrived, so snuck a pic of it from the fridge. I hope Katie & Jake have the most amazing life together and a wonderful time celebrating tonight. 💕💕💕

Getting ready for someone’s nuptials tomorrow but don’t forget we ARE OPEN Sunday. And closed Sunday May 31st for our staff to have a weekend off. We have two specials this weekend in addition to our delicious usual brunch menu: Cherry Cheesecake French Toast, and a small biscuit & gravy + cheesy bacon scramble + hashbrowns plate. People are missing out on these street tacos and sliders. You can add what you want from our toppings bar to garnish them. We close at 8:00, so still time to get some if you’re in the area. Bbq brisket & chili lime smoked chicken and smoked chicken verde is the queso today. We also have the Ploughman back and quite a few orders of it.

I’m preparing the Father’s Day menu and excited to say it will involve the one and only sausage we use for bbq… Elgin, TX beef smoked sausage. Born in Central Texas in 1882, this company is the oldest bbq company in Texas and was the sausage used by my beloved Will Jenny’s in OP before the owners broke my heart and closed. It will be part of our smokehouse menu honoring Dads, which will be posted soon. We hope if you are not at the theater that day enjoying our ham & potatoes lunch, you’ll join us at Posh Nosh to celebrate the men in our lives who help make our dreams come true. 🧑🧓👴👨
