It was a BIG time in Kinston last weekend with the Sudan Shriners landing in town with fun, philanthropy, and fellowship uppermost in their minds. We partied like rock stars but always keeping raising financial support for Shriners Hospitals for Children as the priority. Thanks to our Potentate and First Lady, Illustrious Sir Tom Ferrell and Lady Milly for serving and leading the nobility. Looking forward to the Fall Ceremonial. What a perfect springlike day to do photos out at Joyner Park. The park was busy but we managed to get some great shots of Rachel, Bernaldo, and young Kyle as they get ready to have their family grow in just a few short weeks. Little Abel will be here soon! Fall is my favorite time and yesterday is one of the reasons why. PICTURE perfect weather and glorious wedding days. Ashley and Spencer Hill couldn't have chosen a better day to be at Wilkins Farm and share their love with family and friends. Sunshine and laughter were at the center of everything and you could just feel the love that these two families share. Here are a few shots for you to enjoy. Congratulations to Kris and Jason Fuller who invited us to be a part of their celebration. Perfect weather, great friends and family and a relaxed vibe were the plan of the day. (Gotta love those pups too!) Fun folks and delicious food all helped to complete the laid back mood. A gorgeous sunset was icing on the cake! Here are a few shots from their sweet afternoon. What is better than a surprise engagement... a surprise engagement set up by our dear friend BREE! We "pretended" to be shooting a family session but surprised Rachel and Bernaldo by being at Joyner Park when he "popped" the question. Bree set up the entire thing for her wonderful son and his fiancé. We had such a good time! Champagne, flowers, picnic and lots of silliness ensued. We can hardly wait for the wedding!!!

It was a new experience for us working with the The NC Grand Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star photographing their annual event. We met so many lovely people and are so impressed by the pomp, circumstance and beauty of their rituals and the amazing charitable work they do. There was fun, great food, business was conducted and new officers installed. "Elvis" even made an appearance! Thanks so much for including us.
