Paisley and Pearl Events is an event business run by Heather Bonawitz. We specialize in weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and birthday parties.

I want to take the stress out of planning, designing, and carrying out the day of events for the host so that they can just have fun. We offer design services, full planning, month of planning and day of coordination. For weddings my goal is to make the couple feel like they can trust me with the work so they can get back to focusing on each other; the real reason for the wedding day. I love to help couples make their weddings look like they spent a lot of money without spending a lot of money! I also like to find unique aspects that reflect the couple throughout their dating and current lives to include in the ceremony and reception.

Our first trip is this upcoming week to Disney World and it is a very special one! July 21, 2026 there will be a registered earthquake in Orlando, FL!

It will be caused by the loudest, high pitched screams of two little girls who have been best friends for 6 years and are being surprised with a Disney trip together! We have planned for 7 months without them suspecting! Aria made a wish in 2024 to live at Disney with her best friend Abby, so we made it happen! For the next week we will spend time creating memories with each other.

Ceremony start times need to be figured out early on in the wedding planning process so sometimes this can be overwhelming for couples!

When clients ask me what time should their ceremony start I have them consider the length of the ceremony, do they plan to do a first look or not, and what season is their wedding.

Other important things to consider if do you want your main meal served to be breakfast, lunch or dinner? Do you have a large wedding party where you will have a full getting ready schedule? Is there a planned gap between the ceremony and the reception due to travel or church timing?

Ten years later, and I still tear up at weddings.

Not because everything is perfect, but because of what the day represents.

A couple choosing each other. Families celebrating together. The joy, the happy tears, the dance floor moments, and all the little memories that become part of someone's story forever.

My job has never been about managing events.

It's about creating space for couples to be fully present on one of the most important days of their lives.

And getting to witness that? It will never stop being an honor. 🤍

Happy One Year Anniversary to Alyssa and Chris!

My favorite weddings are ones where I meet the bride and everything just clicks! Alyssa has the brightest personality with a no bu****it attitude that I vibe with so much! It was an amazing wedding filled with dancing, laughter and a lot of hard work put in by Alyssa on her designs. Chris and Alyssa are both down to earth and easy to talk to! It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding last year as the month of coordinator and venue!

My entire world and why! Every meeting, every client interaction, every stack of chairs moved, every linen fluffed, every weather app checked 5 times in 30 mins, every wedding is to show these two what hard work looks like. I want my kids to know that hard work and time invested in a venture pays off. These smiles are what fuel me! I am grateful that this job gives me the flexibility to spend time with them during the week and work from home. If you are my client I can guarantee that you will meet them during a Zoom pop in for bedtime kisses!

Want to know what we've been up to this season!? We have been busy with three full planning weddings and celebrating the love of some amazing people! In August we worked with Christine and Jay to fully plan their one year vow renewal. Their love story is one for the books! These two met playing Red Dead Redemption 2, while one lived stateside and the other in England! Their love for each other radiates from their faces when they are around one another and we were so honored to bring that to the forefront for an intimate group of people! brought all the energy and kept all 17 guests dancing the entire time! Thank you and Jay for choosing us to help plan this joyous occassion!

I am currently looking for a new wedding planning job, to whoever gets the privilege of planning this wedding! That's right, I will sell out, I will close shop, I will move to assist on this wedding! I know I am one of a select few that loves Travis Kelce as much as (maybe more than) Taylor Swift, I know crazy talk!

Happy Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 I feel like posting something for the LGBTQIA community in June is cliche, but the message of love and support for the community has been weighing on my mind heavy the last few months. It was time to make a statement.

Paisley and Pearl Events wholeheartedly supports the marriage, love, well-being, happiness, and rights of anyone and everyone in the LGBTQIA community. We love having the privilege of supporting couples on their wedding day, knowing how much it means that these two people now have the legal right to be married, when this was not always the case just ten years ago. We will always be there with open arms full of love and open minds ready to learn when needed.

This year, Pride might not look or feel the same, but don't let the bastards grind you down!
