Hot take: I don’t want your wedding to be timeless.

I want it soaked in this season of your life. The shade of lipstick you’ve been reaching for every morning. The tequila brand you won’t stop talking about. The song that’s been on repeat for three weeks straight. The food you’d eat every single day if you could. The inside jokes that make you both lose it.

Yes, wedding trends come and go. But chasing “timeless” often just means chasing someone else’s version of perfect.

Your wedding should be the most honest, alive expression of you — right now, at this point in your story.

At Erica and Andrew’s wedding, after a brief afternoon thundershower, the skies cleared over and a calm breeze and dewy light poked between the trees surrounding the amphitheater. The air was warm and calm, and the whole space felt almost sacred. And it was perfect.
