Joey plays a mixture of covers from rock, country, southern rock, the red dirt movement, outlaw country, honky tonk and more. His originals reflect this wide array of influences and has been simply dubbed as "Rebel Rock". Joey's time playing in multiple genres has cultivated a sound that is unique to him. The same can be said of the other members of the Dry River Band which brings their own flare

to the Red Dirt/Texas Country Scene. Joey has had the opportunity to open for Granger Smith, Jason Boland, Moe Bandy, Bo Phillips, Bart Crow, JB & The Moonshine Band, Cowboy Troy and many many more!
