Joey plays a mixture of covers from rock, country, southern rock, the red dirt movement, outlaw country, honky tonk and more. His originals reflect this wide array of influences and has been simply dubbed as "Rebel Rock". Joey's time playing in multiple genres has cultivated a sound that is unique to him. The same can be said of the other members of the Dry River Band which brings their own flare

to the Red Dirt/Texas Country Scene. Joey has had the opportunity to open for Granger Smith, Jason Boland, Moe Bandy, Bo Phillips, Bart Crow, JB & The Moonshine Band, Cowboy Troy and many many more! Robert Gardiner for bassist
Steve Jackson (Stevie Stixx) for drummer
And Joey for male vocalist and songwriter of the year
As well as the whole band for Band of the Year.

After speaking with the venue we will not be playing in Garden City this weekend at Southwind Golf Club. The Garden City Wind won last night and will be playing for a Pecos League championship this weekend. Joey has been the voice of the Wind for 10 years and this is their first Championship appearance. He covers it on Dry River Radio and PecosLeague.tv.
We tried to see if the venue could adjust our start time for the show so both could be accomplished but they elected to just find another band instead.
So next up will be Florence, KS at The Rusty Spur on the 22nd!
