✨ They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is no exception.

The love, admiration, and respect I have for Jeannette could never be summed up in just a photo, but it’s a start. She’s not only my incredible operations manager—the one who keeps the Safari Marketing & Queen Gypsy train moving full speed—but she’s also been my friend since I was just four years old. That’s a bond you simply can’t hire off the street.

Growing up in North Shore on the east side of Houston was a vibe. We didn’t have cell phones; we had mud pies, creativity, and community. If you know, you know. 💫

This photo captures how I feel every single time I see her—whether it’s her showing up at Round Top after years apart, walking to my front door with a latte in hand, or meeting me behind the Astrodome for our daily rodeo walk-through. My heart still leaps the same way it did when we were little girls.

She’s my “work person.” 💼❤️ Before her, I had someone else for 20+ years, but when Covid swept through and cleared out the negativity in my life, God knew exactly who I needed in that space. He brought me Jeannette. Now, I look forward to her arrival every day—not because I’m micromanaging her, but because I’m genuinely excited to see her face and share the million ideas I’ve been holding in until she gets there.

Jeannette, I love you. I’m so grateful we crossed paths at the YMCA all those years ago, two little girls who had no idea how our lives would intertwine. Some friendships are for a season. Ours is for a lifetime. 🌹

✨ One of the questions I get asked the most is about the feathers in my hair.

The truth is—they aren’t just an accessory. They’re a reminder of one of my favorite scriptures, Psalms 91:4-6:

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.”

For me, the feathers represent His covering, His protection, and the peace of knowing I’m always under His wings. 🪶 It’s not just style—it’s a symbol of faith and strength that I carry with me everywhere I go.

Maybe the next time you see a feather, you’ll be reminded too—you’re never unprotected, never unseen, and never alone. 💫

We’ve spent the last several days packing and shipping out an incredible amount of orders from market, and today we’re almost to the finish line. With just four of the big ones heading out tomorrow, we’ll officially have every single market order complete! 🙌
