Hanging baskets so pretty, even the barnyard's impressed!

We hope everyone has a great time at the Trempealeau County Fair this weekend. It is going to be a beautiful weekend to visit Galesville and the fair! We love supporting this fantastic community event.

Open 8 to 4 today, Saturday, July 12! Did you purchase Proven Winner Achillea ‘Firefly Peach Sky’ either this spring or last year from us? We still have a few left and so far we have been impressed. We planted several for some of our landscape customers and they overwintered great! We also have restocked coneflowers, natives, gaillardia and grasses!

Are you looking for a hardy and hardworking perennial? Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ loves the heat and has a very long bloom period! Though it dies back to the ground like most herbaceous perennials, it can even be used to create a little hedge along a walkway. However you use it, it will add a bright pop of yellow in your summer garden.

Do you have a porch to sit and watch the rain? Our north facing porch is bedecked with ferns. The plantings around the porch include Annabelle hydrangeas. These hydrangeas turn white and then another shade of green after that, but I love the green phase the best, so relaxing. Another great bonus of this plant is that you usually never have to w**d around it as its foliage grows so dense w**ds don’t stand a chance!

Did you forget that the fruit from your Serviceberry is edible? The trick is getting the fruit before the birds. These small trees guarantee sitings of Cedar Waxwings! How is your Serviceberry doing this year? If you haven’t purchased a serviceberry yet I hope you consider it. We still have some available in single stem and multi stem versions. They offer beautiful spring flowers, edible berries, and beautiful fall coloring. A tree I would not live without!

Do you keep a bit of water out in your garden? I have several pots of water for my own pets or whatever wildlife wanders by. Most pots can be made waterproof by plugging the hole with a cork or rubber stopper and a little silicone. OPEN today Saturday, June 21, 8-4. It is a warm one as we settle into summer.

The seed for this lime green Nicotiana came in late, but I love this color in the garden. Shown here with a seed grown Browalia ‘Sky Blue’. Nicotiana attract Hummingbirds. We also have Nicotiana ‘Only the Lonely’ that grows to 4’ and attracts nighttime pollinators!

Enjoyed placing this interactive pendulum sculpture into one of our garden and patio installations. This garden was created last fall and I can’t say enough about scheduling your landscape projects a year in advance or even the previous fall like this one. The perennials and shrubs are so much more established compared to planting the same year!! Call us to schedule a consultation!
