Twenty years in professional kitchens taught me that nobody hands you a map.
In most experiences, you end up figuring out this industry mostly by accident. Or if you are lucky, because someone who had already been lost took the time to point you in the right direction. We were lucky enough to have a few of those people. And we never forgot what that felt like.
Chef Justin and I are building this series to be the guidance, the reassurance, and the honest conversation. We are ready to share what this industry needs.
This June we are planning to launch Culinary Foundations and Career Pathways -- a workshop series hosted at Crossroads Institute in Galax, VA. For teens, for adults, for career changers, for anyone who has ever loved food and wondered if there is a real place for them in this industry.
This industry is a constellation created by you. Beyond Catering is here to help you read the sky and keep your eye on the horizon.
Less gatekeeping, more possibilities. Success defined by you, shared with insight from people who have lived it from the inside.
