My Journey Is Finally Complete
In 2014, I received my very first 2-year temporary green card. I was so happy just to be able to work, even though I knew it was limited. Then in 2017, I fought for and received my 10-year green card with no attorney, just me and my research. That moment felt like freedom, but I knew my journey wasn’t done yet.
Today, I can proudly say: I AM A U.S. CITIZEN! 🇺🇸✨
This process hasn’t been easy. I did it all on my own again. no attorney, just persistence, patience, and faith. I trusted my instincts, even reaching out to my congresswoman when my case was delayed, and without that step I don’t think I’d be here today.
Through it all, I also want to thank my partner for his endless love & support.💕 Having him by my side made this journey lighter and gave me strength to keep pushing forward.
Despite everything happening in this country, I’m proud of what I’ve overcome and the strength it took to get here. This is not just the end of a long process. it’s the beginning of a brand new chapter. A chapter of hope, opportunities, and a brighter future. 💙❤️🤍
Here’s to new beginnings, and to never giving up on your dreams. 🙏✨
