Hi neighbors and friends, opening up a meal train for the mother and sister of the young man, Jailyn Jones, that was killed this week from NWHS. He was 17 years old! They are broken right now and as a community maybe we can help uplift them! The family has been contacted and appreciate what we are trying to do. I have 400 followers, let’s use IG to help!

Thanks for all the support this weekend! This week we are going to change the favor to Strawberry cheese cake cupcake. 1 doz = $32! Def one of my favorite! Orders must be in by Wed of this week and pick up Friday or Saturday! Can’t wait to see you! I’ll only be making 8 dozen this time! I increased it by 2 dozen from last week to see how well we do! Last week all 6 were claimed by Tuesday! Freshly made every week! Let’s do it! If there are any flacos you have in mind, let me know!

This is by far the most requested flavor that I get! Lately I been turning down orders because it doesn’t make too much sense for me to only do a dozen here and there but with some brainstorming with my daughter we decided to do flavor of the week! I’ll start off with only making a few dozen each week! In order for you to claim your dozen you must pay in advance and pick up by Friday to Sunday from Germantown! Let’s kick this off! This week we will get started with our infamous snicker doodle cupcakes. Every so often my grandma would stay with me to help me out. This was my first wedding cake and she did not hesitate to roll up her sleeves. Boy was I nervous but with my helper, it made the experience so much better. We wrapped her hair up and I gave her, her duties, she was to sift the sugar for me so it wouldn’t be lumpy when i made my secret cream cheese icing! She took her task very seriously and would often question my technique lol one thing about grandma she did not like wasting anything, so she would often question my measurements and tell me how she would have done it lol That day we spent it chatting it up and laughing and of course focusing on the cake! I love the time we spent together, I got to ask her the difficult questions such as how she met my grandpa and how she knew he was the one, she always kept it classy by not giving me all the details but boy would i dig to see what i could find out. For those that know me, know I like asking questions and my grandma was no exception to the rule, i asked a lot of questions lol. We laughed and would also have very serious conversation as well. We would discuss politics and I had even slightly convinced her that medical ma*****na was ok, or perhaps she was just entertaining me because she loved me lol. When it was time for her to leave that day, i had only iced and had somewhat decorated the cake, she really admired my work but wanted to see the final result and made sure to tell me to take a lot of pictures so she can see how it all came together. I did just that! My dearest grandma left us yesterday and we will miss her dearly! I will cherish our memories and talks that we had alone! Rest In Peace to our Mama Marta! Until we meet again! Thank you for helping me make my first wedding cake! I couldn’t have done it without her help!
