Our Story

Crevasse's Florist of Gainesville Inc. started in 1946 on SE Hawthorne Road, providing flowers and gifts delivered to the Gainesville area. It began as a small family business owned by Joe and Margaret Crevasse. The first flowers came from Green Houses where Joe originally grew the flowers for the shop.

For the last 20 years, Crevasse's Florist has being taking orders from a modern location at Thornebrook Village Shopping Center. Our lovely Peggy Crevasse, who was born and raise in the middle of the floral business is still working here and runs the office with the same care and attention to detail that their parents taught her.

No only Peggy is here. The expert on deliveries, John Smith is the person who — for the last 64 years —, has been running up and down the streets of Gainesville delivering safely the important orders for our long time customers. He knows the city by heart and he’s a very recognizable person in our community.

We’re preparing to celebrate our 75th Anniversary in 2021! We want you to be part of the event. Please call us today and place your order. We are here to serve our community.
