Swipe to see 11 years of memories I’ve had the honor of capturing for Anna + Shane and their family. From high school seniors, to engagement, wedding day, babies, and all the in-between. From me living in Jacksonville, to Gainesville, and now back home, they have never hesitated to follow me wherever this business has taken me.

Never in a trillion years did I think that first session would turn into over a decade of memories together.

Stella, 11 days old and already running the show. She slept like an angel for our whole session (love that for me), meanwhile I hear she's got her days and nights mixed up (sorry for her mom and dad😬)
Sis gave us smirk after smirk, full on grins and even rocked a bonnet her daddy swears he hates.

I've photographed a lot of firsts. but this one wrecked me in the best way.

Documenting a live birth has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I have missed a few by literal seconds, and if you know Grace Hingson, you know she has not let me forget it.

I have had a front row seat for so many milestones, first steps, and celebrations, but I had never been there for the very first one until Stella.
I got to literally watch her come into the world (COOLEST THING EVER) and then came back the next morning to soak in every single detail of her and her parents. This is what I have always wanted to do, and somehow the first time got to be for my own family. It doesn't get more special than that.

Welcome to the world, sweet girl. your KK loves you so much already.

Oh, and to the new parents, you MADE that! I also am so sorry about the no sleep thing, but you've got the best reason in the world to be tired🤍

When I first started doing photography, people would ask, "is that all you do?" Like it was a dig. Like it wasn't a real thing.

And honestly, I used to stumble over my answer.
But then I sit down to edit a session of Arica with her boys. That’s when I realize that I get to capture the way her babies reach for her face, the way she holds their little hands and feet, the way we all “screamed” on the count of 3 to get genuine smiles, and the way LuKasey caught and brought a real live frog inside my house for his pictures (all boy!)😅 and I think to myself, this is exactly what I do. I get to hold onto the stuff that slips through your fingers before you even realize it's going.
Nobody's going to wish they had fewer photos of this.

These baseball junkies’ schedules finally slowed down long enough for us to get their Personality Minis done and I just have one thing to say..these Capps boys are way too handsome for their own good😍

They brought all the personality, all the charm, and somehow managed to make me wonder where the last 10 years went. I was looking back through old galleries and realized I’ve been photographing these boys since Axl was just a baby in 2015! Time is rude.

Also, PSA: You’re never too old for pictures with your mama! So glad Raven Parnell Capps jumped in some of these!

Cierra is already ahead of the game. 🎓✨

Senior year hasn’t even officially started yet, and she’s already checking senior photos off the list.

Honestly, I love summer sessions for this reason. Senior year is packed with so many exciting milestones, so why not start celebrating before the craziness begins?

We spent the evening exploring downtown Lake City, chasing good light, dodging traffic, and laughing the whole way through. (A special thank you to Mama Heather for acting as our crossing guard and keeping us from getting run over. 😂)

Cierra is absolutely beautiful, so sweet, and made this session so much fun!!

I have been soooo behind on posting sneaks lately! 😅
Please know, if I haven’t posted sneak peeks from our time together, it has absolutely nothing to do with how much I loved it. I promise there are so many sessions I adore that never make it to social media. (It’s literally because life has been life-ing over here, and posting has taken a back seat)

I’m still over here obsessing over your galleries, delivering photos, chasing kiddos, and trying to keep all the ducks in the rows😅

With that being said, here is the beautiful, Lola🤍
Fun fact: she’s the caboose and I have gotten to document all the Piedra gals senior photos. Super special!

“For the Days You’ll Miss” sessions are officially open.
These are slow, cozy sessions centered around the little things that already somehow feel fleeting. Bed jumping, messy hair, your favorite quilt, cuddles, chaos, and all the in-between moments that make up this season of life.
I want these to feel relaxed and unhurried. Less like a traditional mini session and more like a morning spent with your babies exactly as they are right now.
