As a wedding planner, I want to raise awareness about something I’ve personally observed in the industry.

I’ve noticed that some venues do not regularly showcase the diversity of real couples who spend significant money with them, even when those weddings are properly credited.

And in many cases, we are talking about venues charging premium pricing — sometimes $8K–$15K just for the space — where every couple is investing the same level of hard-earned money for the same experience.

Couples deserve transparency. You should be able to see real representation of the weddings a venue hosts before making such a major financial decision.

This is something I will now encourage all couples to pay closer attention to when selecting their venue.

Representation matters. Visibility matters. And informed decisions matter.
