Hi! I’m Leigh!

I have a lot of new followers here lately, so I thought I’d put together a little introduction. If you’ve found this page, you’re probably looking for a rock painter, which is something I never even knew existed until 2021!

That year, my children’s school put out a sign-up for parent volunteers to paint the rock out front for different events. I signed up… and apparently never stopped! 😂 Since then, I’ve painted hundreds (?? 🤷🏼‍♀️) of rocks for birthdays and events all across Forsyth County, GA.

When I first started DesignLAB, flowers were the focus with just a few painting jobs mixed in but now it’s quite the opposite. Over my life I have done flowers full-time and part-time. I started my training in kindergarten 🤣 at my Dad’s flower shop where I still go help at major flower holidays.

One thing I always like to mention is that painting is actually just my side gig! My days are spent running dogs in my mobile dog gym, Run Pup (so if you happen to be in the market for that kind of service, come find me! 🐶).

I started Run Pup in early 2025 and have been working hard to turn it into my full-time career. In the meantime, rock painting has been the perfect creative outlet and has helped me bring in a little income while I build my business.
