Happy 8th anniversary to Sydnee and Austin! And to us as a venue! Today marks the 8th anniversary of our very first wedding here at the farm. It was a blazing hot day, but this sweet couple were so patient with us as we began to learn what it meant to be a wedding venue.
We've learned a lot since that hot August day eight years ago (we have a lot still to learn), but after over 100 weddings, we're getting the hang of it! Thank you, thank you, to all the wonderful couples that have made us a part of their most special day. You have blessed us by choosing to get married here.
Much has changed since this first wedding. The venue is now climate controlled (sorry about the heat, all our previous summer couples!); we've enlarged the bridal suite and added groom's quarters, the pavilion, and our brand new vendor parlor; and the main room is getting larger as we move our storage elsewhere.
But not everything has changed--we still promise to treat you like we'd want to be treated, to help make your special day as stress-free as possible, and to give you the moon while you're here with us.
Thank you, Sydnee and Austin, for getting us started on this amazing journey. Here's to the next eight years!
