The South Carolina Peach Festival Board is proud to announce that Cherokee County Council has awarded the festival a portion of the countyโ€™s accommodation tax revenue in support of its upcoming 50th anniversary celebration. These funds will help enhance events, entertainment, and tourism efforts as the festival marks this milestone year.

The Peach Festival Board extends its sincere gratitude to Cherokee County Council for recognizing the festivalโ€™s importance to the community and its impact on local tourism. Planning is underway for a special 50th anniversary celebration, and the board looks forward to honoring five decades of tradition in downtown Gaffney.

We want to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible support and turnout this past weekend for the dessert contest, parade, vendors, carnival, and concerts at Jolly Park. As a volunteer board, our goal is always to provide the best family-friendly entertainment for our community while ensuring fairness, safety, and a positive experience for all.

We understand there were concerns about some of the decisions made, and we want you to know that every choice is made with careful considerationโ€”prioritizing safety, encouraging participation, and maintaining fairness for our vendors, sponsors, and festival patrons.
