We got a load of LOCAL ranunculus and tulips yesterday that are showstoppers!! Grown in Lillington, NC! You know we love buying from local growers whenever we can and we are just getting into the local flower season which makes us thrilled!! Some of our most beautiful product comes from local growers.

We are so excited to share Fern and Hanks Highgrove wedding!! A beautiful Fall evening filled with bright blooms, a variety of foliages, and a wedding dress that was just exquisite!! Can you tell why we love it so much?!? And those adorable flower girls 💙

Gorgeous candlelight and flowers framed the staircase leading to the pergola which was decorated with foliages including smilax, plumosa,and ruscus.

The bright color palette continued into the ballroom with lots of textures. Blooms included gloriosa lilies, tulips, nerines, sweet pea, astilbe, and craspedia.

This wedding was a true work of art! We are so happy we got to be a part of it. Congrats to Fern and Hank!

Our Story

Flowers on Broad Street's story began on Mar. 1, 1997. The shop is located in the historic district of Varina, a part of the charming town of Fuquay Varina. Thriving now as the home of small local shops like J & S Pizza, Nil's Cafe, Aviator Brewing (yea!) and the very elegant wedding venue, Highgrove on Laurel Lake.

With such an idyllic setting, one might expect to walk into a quaint little shop that sells flowers. Instead, open the door and find yourself in a secret garden. Filled with a surprisingly delightful collection of flowers, charming vintage pieces, wreaths that will make your door win best on the block, and other really cool stuff to hold flowers and plants.

Drawing on the adage that flowers should look gracefully "just picked," blooms are gathered from around the world ~ California, Holland, South America, and most importantly from our local growers in Fuquay Varina, Clayton, and Cary. Organic and farm fresh is the Flowers on Broad Street favorite look. Flowers are designed in a garden style which sometimes embraces nature's beautiful imperfections.
