As we celebrate the legacy of Transformers today, we do so with heavy hearts. Peter Cullen, the legendary voice of Optimus Prime, passed away peacefully on August 26 at the age of 85. For nearly 40 years, his voice defined heroism, integrity, and leadership for generations of fans. His performance as the Autobot leader inspired millions and helped transform a cartoon into a cultural touchstone.
