I can’t believe it was exactly 7 years ago that we had our first photoshoot!! Before construction had even started, when all we had were our walnut tables from . , , , and brought everything else to make our space beautiful so we can have take amazing images for our website.

I had no intention of getting in front of the camera, but I’m so glad Brandon talked me into it. Thankful for for making me look presentable! I was trying to look like I was fixing the place setting that didn’t need any of my help because it was already perfect!! Behind that awkward smile were all kinds of thoughts and emotions! Excitement, nervousness, fear, gratitude, you name it, I was feeling it!

Little did I know it would be another 5 months before we could officially open. 5 months of money going out and nothing coming in, taking 2 steps forward, one step back, feeling hopeful one minute and devastated the next. I learned a lot during that time, and I’m still learning!!! I’m excited for more possibilities and forever grateful for this journey!!

4. Cute little bear wasn’t doing so well.
5. Thanks to a quick thinking planner, the bear was saved and there was a cake at the event!!

I got to meet Joanne of , (who rescued the cake) at this event. We talked shop and bonded over being venue owners, and all that comes with it. We could’ve talked for hours! 😅

Here’s a quick tip when planning your event at !

Within your reservation, you get to allocate how much time you need for your set up, actual event time, and clean up. Check with your decorator, balloon/backdrop vendor to see how much time they will need so no one feels rushed or stressed. In order for them to do their best job, they need the time to put the finishing touches on their installation, and in turn, you get what you paid for. Also, please work with a reputable company who can provide the required insurance certificate.

If time and budget allows, you can shift and/or add hours to your reservation so the space is just right as guests arrive and you have plenty of time to enjoy your celebration and have ample time to clean up!

Wedding season is in full swing and in my completely unbiased opinion😉 is the perfect venue for a bridal shower!! 😊

Look how beautiful and cohesive everything came together for this lovely bridal shower!! Momma did a great job with the help of for the backdrop and balloons!!
