From the MSAC. Opportunity for Maryland based visual artists: Dear visual artists!
The Maryland Dept. of Commerce, MSAC’s parent agency, is organizing a booth for the Great American State Fair, hosted on the National Mall in Washington, DC, from June 25 to July 10. The Dept. of Commerce will be featuring Maryland’s arts sector as a central part of the program telling our state’s story.
Visual artists are invited to participate by attending one day of the fair to display work and interact with those visiting the Maryland booth. Compensation is $1,000 for the day: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Maryland booth, which will be enclosed and air-conditioned.
