October on the farm so far. The first October in a long time farmer Vince isn’t working 12 to 16 hour shifts for all of October. What a blessing it has been to have him around more in this beautiful season.

LaGra Salon and Day Spa weekly drop! Marigolds are the highlight this week.

As these flowers seem fairly common, we grow different and fun varieties that stick out and smell amazing. I’ve been trialing vaselife on these and I have some that are lastly longer than 3 weeks. These flowers also dry amazing!

The bouquets will be at the salon until Friday afternoon, we hope you or your loved one enjoy them!

Our last bridal bucket of the season, thank you to Tammy Wise for the hydrangeas for this bride. This bride booked early in the year. I was able to get some blue flowers in our crop plan to make her wedding ring.

Our DIY bridal buckets don’t have to be unorganized or last minute. (Though that works too) we take brides plenty in advanced. We will fully refund the expense as long as we have 3-4 eeek notice of cancellation.

I really enjoyed the weddings and celebrations we were apart of this season. Outside of bridal buckets this year we did bid vases and center pieces for local brides!

Happy hogs in the fresh field. We planted this pasture with turnips, barely, sweet peas, and oats. And we do the same with their rotated pastures.

The pigs will have food to forage for some time here. They are happy and so are we; as they improve this pasture for us.

Why does this matter? You can tell the difference in the meat, and the fat when an animal has been pasture raised. We also care about quality of life of our animals. Happy hogs, happy tails, happy customers.

Another day another LaGra Salon and Day Spa drip for you Wellsville! We may have another few weeks of fresh local flowers, we may not! I made two extra large bouquets and brought some fresh snapdragons.
