Not to brag, BUT our venue includes two of these 14’ tables that seat 20 😱

Our couples often use the harvest table in the barn as their family-style head table, while others love it to display all their beautiful desserts. There’s no limit!

Many couples also love to host their rehearsal dinner here on site and the harvest table located in The Watermill is perfect for just that. No extra rentals, no extra costs ✨

Another exciting update at The Mill District! 💐

This project has been a long time coming and has been a dream of ours— a fresh cut flower garden! Our Amish neighbors started all our plants for us this spring in their greenhouse.

Jourdan did a little research to pick the best flowers and came up with a vision of what she wanted it to look like. We hope to have many garden parties in our future! Once these babies bloom, this will be a beautiful spot for bridal portraits 🤍

This has been the sweetest little activity for The Thomsons to do together as a family. We are eager to watch these flowers grow! 💐

The Reception Barn received a new coat of paint 🖤

Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams is our signature here at TMD. We added some topiary and she is looking fabulous and clean for wedding season!

It takes a lot more than people think to keep a historic property looking fresh. We like to keep the original barn charm, but maintain a clean, sophisticated look year-round. 2026 projects are in full swing!

✨ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Marie!
Marie plays a vital role here at The Mill District as Jourdan’s office assistant. Our couples will meet her during their meetings, as she keeps all plans and ideas organized and in one place with her fantastic teacher organization skills. She is also responsible for getting vendors here smoothly and timely on wedding day, which is a big important job! Jourdan would like to note that she would be lost without Marie 🤪

As if that wasn’t enough, Marie is famous here for the delicious grazing table spreads on wedding day and any in-house food preparation. If you’ve had anything prepared by Marie, you’ll know it’s always a 10/10!

Fun fact: Marie was Jourdan’s home ec teacher in high school and taught her the fundamentals of baking! We are so so thankful and grateful to have her here at The Mill District 🤍
