Hello friends 🌸 A longggg overdue re introduction !

My name is Dana and I’m the face behind the florals here at Wildfleur & Whimsy 🤍

We specialize in wedding floral design and rentals, as well as other smaller events like bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, basically any event you’d want to elevate with dreamy floral arrangements.

Our style is (you guessed it) whimsical, gardeny, and lush. We utilize local blooms when possible and have a focus on sustainability by producing foam-free designs and plastic free packaging. Generally, we aim to reduce waste during the entire process, from unboxing the flowers to after the event by donating leftovers.

About me:

I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a bachelors in entrepreneurship (yay to actually using my degree! 😂)

I grew up in 4H riding horses and showing dogs, chickens, flowers (of course), as well as competing in FFA in high school.

I have 3 dogs (one of my logos), 2 Samoyeds named Huck & Evie and an Australian shepherd named Millie. 🐶🐶🐶

I have a baby boy who’s about to be a year old 🥹 He’s the light of my life and has sparked a new fire for the why behind this business. My husband (Mr. Wildfleur) also will help from time to time at weddings when he’s not watching our little dude!

I am just under 5’1” 😂 I think some are surprised when I show up on wedding day and realize how short I am!

I used to be a metal smith before jumping into flowers. I worked for a local jewelry company and had my own little business as well. I sometimes make little things now just because I can ☺️

The name of this business used to be The Polar Peddler because it all actually started with an icecream cart 🍦I knew I wanted to get into events and dabble in some different things and apparently the flowers took off 😂 We rebranded in 2023!

If you made it this far, you’re a true fan I love you ❤️ haha But for real, thank you for being here and supporting this dream. I could never do this without my family, friends, clients, fellow vendors etc. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future because I have even BIGGER dreams ✨

Rain on your wedding day should never steal the moment. We're so happy we got to work with E&L on their outdoor wedding, even in the rain. It just added a magical touch true to the venue and their vibe.

Who wants an indoor option for spring portraits? I have a few spots left for my I door spring minis. Since I hired Wildfleur & Whimsy to do my florals, I don't have an example of these but think. brick accent wall, white walls, antique ladder, BEAUTIFUL florals! Perfect set up for a momma and her babies, headshots, anyone that loves flowers.

I will be doing some outdoors at some point but these will be happening in just a few weeks. If you want to give someone a wonderful Mother's Day gift, this is it!!!
