It’s been a little quiet over here—I haven’t taken on new projects and likely won’t until August or later. 🩵

The Birthday Project is still in full swing. Casey's Sweet Treats and I are so excited to be part of these special celebrations! 🥳

I’ll also be sharing some projects I haven’t posted yet- starting with our own baby shower! We went with a simple, sweet BBQ theme and swapped the classic red for blue plaid.
Decor was easy: balloons from Busy Bee Party Co. and the most talked-about detail were the cutest hamburger cupcakes from Takes the Cake! 🍔🧁
I couldn’t find an advice card I liked on Amazon, so I designed my own 😅 (invitations and event cover photo too, of course!).

Can’t wait to get back to working on your projects soon! 🤍

Huge thank you to Bruce and Leo for trusting me once again with their vision! One of my first business designs was designing menus for their food truck, and now I’ve had the honor of creating the logo, menu, and signage for their new restaurant— The Wagon Wheel Restaurant at Brushy Creek Lodge & Resort!

My biggest project so far is done! ✅️

So thankful to have helped organize this fundraiser! It was my first big public event.
12 vendors, over 50 graphics, layout design, day of set up, you know all the things 😜😅

I got to work with some of my favorite event vendors!

The Primal Grill (highly recommend for catering! Ben's food is INCREDIBLE. The quality and flavor is unmatched.)
Busy Bee Party Co. (balloons and backdrops! Check out her Facebook. She does fantastic setups)
The Venue at Sawyers Landing (beautiful venue! And the sweetest staff!)
Takes the Cake (my go-to for cakes for my own family and recommendation. She donated for our bake sale and auction!)
The Pig BBQ donated some teas and gift cards (another catering option! Deborah is so easy to work with!)
114 West Main Mercantile & Catering Co (ANOTHER catering option 🙌🏻 Lana was packed with catering orders all weekend and still made time to drop in an auction item.)

It’s been a busy few weeks over here, and I’m so thankful for it!

Here’s just a glimpse at some recent projects:

• Custom logos + matching business cards for several awesome businesses. More coming this week!

• A full set of branding—logo, menu, and signage—for a new restaurant opening soon. They haven't announced yet, but I can’t wait to share! 🤫

• A variety of flyers for fundraisers, sports events, and more. So many exciting causes and celebrations!

• Custom collages highlighting some amazing small businesses involved in a fundraiser I’ve had the honor of helping organize.

• And yes… even a few funny logos and flyers because sometimes you just need a good laugh or a creative way to mess with a friend! 😅 (I even got some delicious bread in exchange.)

Designing for all kinds of occasions (serious or not) is what keeps this so fun—and I’m always ready for the next project!

Exciting Update! 🎉
KDX Events is now KDX Design & Events—a change that reflects my expanding focus on custom graphics for businesses, including logos, flyers, menus, business cards, and more. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of working with small businesses to bring their ideas to life, and I’m excited to keep growing in this direction.

While I will continue offering event services, design will be my primary focus in the coming months as I prepare to welcome a new baby to our family. 🩵

With this shift comes updated pricing, but I remain committed to keeping my services affordable. If we’ve recently discussed a project, I’ll gladly honor the pricing we talked about.

Thank you for your continued support. It means so much as I step into this next chapter! 🖤✨

My most particular client had a very specific request for her birthday this year- rats & pink bows! Not exactly a theme you’ll find in stores, but that’s the magic of working with small, local businesses- custom everything! 🐀🎀

I created a fun, simple invitation and Takes the Cake totally nailed the vision with an amazing cake! Her party was yesterday, and I took a little pause to soak in her birthday week.

But I’m back, so reach out if you need me! Look out for an exciting business update soon!

So excited for this announcement!

KDX Events and Casey's Sweet Treats are teaming up to spread some birthday cheer! 🎂 We're accepting nominations for families in Madison County with kids 18 and under who could use a little extra sweetness on their special day.

Each child that is selected will receive a custom cake that serves 20-25 people, designed with their favorite colors or theme, plus a matching digital invitation or birthday card!

To nominate, message KDX Events page with the child’s name, age, and why you’re nominating them. Nominations must be submitted by January 26th at 8 PM. Let’s work together to make birthdays brighter for families in our community!

*Nominations should be residents of Madison County and the child must be 18 or younger. Please nominate outside of your household. 😊 We’d especially love to bring some joy to families who might be going through a tough time or could truly benefit from a little extra celebration. We will select up to 2 families each month (February-December) and will notify them by January 31st!

And yes, those pictures are cakes that Casey made 🤩 Going to be fantastic to watch what she comes up with for the themes the kids pick!
