Stephanie White

Stephanie White Welcome to your total virtual solution for party planning panic. Offering a range of convenient onli Hey Party People! I’m Stephanie White, or just Steph.

I’m a big city event planner with a hometown heart. I left the corporate event planning world to pursue my dream of building an online party resource for the busy modern mama. How I got here…

Just a year ago you would have found me shuffling my way into D.C. every morning after dropping my toddler off at daycare. I loved my job as a corporate event planner and I worked for an amazing organization

, but I felt there were other things in store for me. Life has a funny way of opening up the right doors at the right times. After getting pregnant with twins (yes - BIG plot twist), I knew I would need to come home and take care of my kids. But even with 3 kiddos to manage, I could not stop day dreaming about starting my own event planning business. This lead me to launch Events Full Circle, in the middle of a pandemic mind you, where I concentrate on offering virtual event planning resources and services to help busy babes and mamas (like me), plan celebrations easily from home. A little about my background…

At the age of 24, I left my home city and moved across the country to land my “dream job” of working in the film industry. Little did I know, that adventure would introduce me to the world of planning events. I also happened to meet my hubby (meant to be). The social and corporate event planning experience that I have gained has given me the expertise to independently launch Events Full Circle. Over the last decade I’ve worked in hotels and banquets, the catering industry, and as an event planner in one of the busiest cities in the country, Washington D.C. Today you can find me pursuing my dream event business while not missing one single art project or smile from my toddler and new baby twins. Do you want to know what I am all about? Events Full Circle helps to create both the “once in a lifetime” events and the small everyday celebrations. Both are equally as important in our eyes and make up the best parts of this circle of life.

27 years of "knowing" each other, 12 years of dating, 11 years of living together, 8 years of marriage...

After being married for almost 9 years, the buzz of Valentine's Day has subsided a bit lol. We've gone from fancy dates and expensive gifts to a hug and a card 😂🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But there is one tradition that has stood the test of time in our relationship, and that's a heartfelt message. Personally, I don't think there is any better way to show your love and appreciation than by writing a genuine note to your significant other.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Collect the notes over the years for you both to revisit every Valentine's Day. It's a very neat experience to re-read your words from 10+ years before and see how much you've grown as a couple.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course being an event planner, I had to jazz mine up a bit 😉, but instead of buying a cool $10 card from Target (which I love btw), I used leftover craft supplies to make a hanging card.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For even more fun, leave the note somewhere unexpected like hanging from a car mirror or on the office door k**b at work. The extra effort goes a long way after you’ve been together a while 😘
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's the last day of and it's for the lovers. Check out these lovely ladies for more ideas...

Light up the night (literally) with this easy family Valentine's Day activity. ✨

It's time for the Valentine's Day edition of . Join me this week for tons of inspo from all the best party accounts on IG!! Today we are sharing ideas to do with your kiddos.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cut hearts or any valentines day shape into paper baggies. Line a sidewalk or driveway and then add a little bit or sand/rocks and candles to the bags on Valentines Day. I would suggest using LED candles just to be on the safe side 😉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This idea was inspired by the Luminary tradition at Christmas. The bags look so magical shining into the night. I use my leftover bags from Christmas and convert them over the Valentine's Day. The kids LOVE helping me light these up.

Reasons why this event planner 👈 loves winter weddings... ❄️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In most parts of the country, the deep winter months (January, February and March) are the least popular for weddings according to the Knot.

I think each season is gorgeous in its own right, but I do think winter gets shafted a bit. I personally LOVE winter weddings and here are 5 reasons why...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. It's a slower time of year for most people so guests are excited and ready to get out. Sometimes the popular wedding months can get extremely overwhelming for guests when they have multiple weddings to attend back to back.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. You have your choice of vendors because it's a slower time of year in the industry. That means you'll likely get the A team for everyone you've hired making everyone's job easier and guest experience top notch.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. No hot and sweaty groomsmen or guests in suits (sorry but had to put it out there 😂). All of us in the industry know and feel so bad for those dressed up and sweating in 80/90 degree weather.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Less back-up plan decisions. Ceremony inside, reception inside. No constantly looking at the weather for 2 weeks. No multiple scenarios for whatever the weather may bring that day. The only thing that can really mess you up is a blizzard, but the chances of that happening are not likely.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. The vibe of a winter wedding can be pure fairy tale magic. Cozy venues, a crackling fire, deep winter color schemes, beautiful long sleeve gowns, stoles, winter coats, the potential for snowfall in the background!? I mean... 🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I actually fell in love with the wedding industry when I worked my first wedding ever at a ski resort nestled in the mountains of Park City Utah, but that's a story for another day. So I am kinda partial to the winter vibe... and now maybe I've convinced a few 😉

Perks of being an event planner…

Getting fancy AF every week with leftover floral arrangements 🤣 lol

All jokes aside, even when I’m tired after a long event weekend, or just after a long day as a stay at home mama… I always put in the extra effort to make food look pretty… and I’ll tell you why…

You can make the yummiest dish, but I promise is tastes yummier when you’ve taken the time to dress it up. Much like putting on a cute outfit before going on a quick errand… it just makes you feel good and confident.

Use your china. Keep pretty platters and bowls very accessible for this reason. Take just a little extra time to create thoughtful food displays, actually dice the parsley for garnish (lol), set a pretty table, add flowers and use cute napkins.

It feels like a treat and “you deserve it”!!

So what do you need for a crab feast?

Day 2 of and we are sharing party ideas 👍 Piggy backing off of yesterday, a Crab Feast party idea for 4th of July is a great tradition to start!

🦀 plan on 5-7 crabs per person.
🦀 sides typically include fries, corn, hush puppies, and coleslaw.
🦀 dippers include melted butter, old bay, vinegar, and cocktail sauce. I get mini cups for each person to pick their dippers.
🦀 butcher paper to cover your table. It will get messy!
🦀 crab mallets and knives.
🦀 basket or bucket for crab shells.

I love setting up crab feasts for parties over the summer because it’s such a social activity. Picking through crabs with good drinks, good convo, and good music, around a table with family and friends. You can’t beat it!

Crab Feast Tablescape 🦀

It’s and tablescapes for 4th of July.
In Maryland, it’s hard to beat a crab feast for any summer celebration, especially the 4th! 🎆

This table setup is SO simple but so fun and functional.

First cover your table with butcher paper to help with the mess. It’s also fun to “claim your seat” on the paper.

This year I added personal red checkered trays for sides and a crab bib 🤣 both off of and linked above!

Keeping the centerpiece as basic as possible because the middle of the table typically gets filled with crabs. Here I decorated with mason jar tea lights so we could pick crabs into the evening 😍
