We enjoyed celebrating the holidays at True Standard Distilling with the wonderful folks from iHire. This place was decked out, the food and drinks were flowing and the staff was amazing! We can't wait to visit again on our day off! 🎄🎅 ✨️

Our Story
The Savory Spoon spent our first couple of years in business nurturing relationships with local farmers, and seeking area food artisans eager to contribute unique and organic recipes to our pantry. Over seven years later, we are happy to be well established in the community and are able to pay it forward because of the support we have received. We offer hormone-free meat and dairy products, and Farmer’s Market quality produce as it becomes locally available. We use our own homemade recipes and mix it up with sauces and jams from local small businesses. We like to think that you can visit us at The Savory Spoon and find everything you need to plan the event of your dreams. Cheri Thompson, the owner of the company has 25 years of catering and hospitality experience, executing hundreds of events from beginning to end with the help of other trusted professionals. We partner with the best vendors in the area, and will be as involved as you want us to be along the way. At The Savory Spoon, we firmly believe in delivering “Nothing But The Best” to you. We love what we do, and are very blessed to have the opportunity to serve our community. We offer ongoing discounts to active military, and work well with non-profit organizations and fund-raising efforts. Cheri can provide excellent references upon request, and has a rich history of “Paying it Forward” in the Frederick community and beyond.We do it all! The Savory Spoon is a full service off premise catering company. Our kitchen is located in The Clustered Spires Pastry Shop at 285 Montevue Lane in Frederick, MD. We can meet with you there to discuss the details of your event. This is also where we host tastings and even small events on occasion. We are licensed to deliver freshly prepared cuisine right to your home, office or venue. We have a full service professional staff to accommodate every type and size of affair. We can provide bartenders, on-site chefs and full set-up and decorating services. We provide our own commercial grade serving equipment in most cases. When additional equipment and rentals are required , we partner with Grand Rental Events to ensure that every last detail is perfect! Corporate Rewards We love our corporate clients here at The Savory Spoon. We offer a loyalty program which rewards our regular customers with a free catered event after every ten orders. This can be used as a budgeting tool when funding corporate luncheons, or use the free service to reward yourselves for “a job well done!” Pharmaceutical reps can accumulate these rewards very quickly, and use them to thank their best clients.
