My first gig with comedian Nikki Glaser was almost three years ago. Since then, she has hosted the Golden Globes and SNL and was named one of Time Magazines 100 Most Influential People.

In that same time, I’ve managed to organize my negatives from a year ago 😅

Lookout for Nikki’s latest, The Stunning Tour! Oh, and HBD Nikki Glaser - may we all get better with age!

This is my buddy Patrick. He's from South Africa but has been living in the US since we attended school together in the early aughts. He's a television producer and you've probably seen his programs. He introduced me to someone at his sister-in-law's wedding as being "a successful photographer" - ha!

FYI: You can’t “scan” negatives with a camera. Instead of saying “camera scanning” just say “digitizing”. I am digitizing my negatives.

Would you say “yes” to a cubic zirconia? 💍 So why hire a “film inspired” wedding photographer when you could have the real thing? 😅

Film photographers - I know we are all a little anachronistic, but don’t be stupid!

Bots are wasting our time in FB groups because we don’t bother back checking the accounts of posts that we react to and even comment on.

Take a moment to investigate posts that seem familiar, generic or with names or context that are suspicious.

If you find a bot account has reposted someone else’s text and image, call them out for it and tag the OG poster. Report and block the infringing account AFTER alerting the original poster.

If you find your post had been copied, report it to FB as intellectual property theft! Get it removed!

Take this s**t seriously! Google “Dead Internet Theory” - don’t let it happen to the film community!

And for the love of god, please stop posting, AND REACTING TO, garbage cell phone shots of cameras without any film photos! The bots LOVE this empty calorie, easy reaction content!
