As a Kodak loyalist, original creator supporter & someone who encourages sustainable pricing, I am sadly exploring other HC110 options due to continual price hikes.

While it was very kind of Adox to send me a sample bottle of their HC110, a liter costs $54 (two 500ml bottles) from Freestyle. And Kodak HC110 went from $32 a liter last year on Freestyle & B&H to $43. At $30 a liter, Film Photography Project might have my business with FPP110.

Adox HC110 seems to replicate pre-2019 HC110 perfectly though I am still testing. It seems to cost about the same as Kodak in Europe.

According to Michael Raso of FPP, his HC110 comes out of the same US plant as Kodak but they have resolved the crystallization problem with post 2019 Kodak HC110.

I’ll be testing & will keep you guys posted.

My daughter’s growing up to be more of a gymnast than a photographer. And that’s okay. Our children don’t need to take up the same interests as we do in order for us to love them and enjoy spending time with them. But I have to admit, I did enjoy that relatively brief period when she came out to take photos with Mom and I!
