It has been an incredible season, and I want to thank you - but first, there are two bouquets I want to give you! 💐

No requirements. Whoever gets to our flower stand first, takes them home.

My policy with flower subscriptions has always been the same, and bouquets that are not picked up get paid forward. So these two would love to bring some fall moody colors to your home.

From waking up tubers in April to digging them up yesterday, my little shadows were right beside me for all of it.

Yesterday was our last harvest, and we dug our tubers to divide and share.

Ending the season the same way it began, with my kids beside me, feels exactly right for our family.

This was our first full season under the Bits & Blooms name and our new direction, and I’m so grateful.

To everyone who grabbed a bouquet, joined the Flower Club, trusted us with your wedding, or just cheered us on: thank you.

I listened to my gut and chose a quieter close to this season.

Yes, I’ll miss these flowers.

But I’m looking forward to letting my body rest and putting that energy into the projects that will help us grow next year.

A whole season of growing, and I’m tired. The good kind of tired, but tired.

This weekend is our last weekend of fresh flowers for 2026. After that, the farm (and this farmer) is taking a little pause.

But this morning I walked past our cool flower seedlings, the ones we sowed for next Spring, and they’re doing exactly what they’re supposed to. Quietly growing.

Not rushing.
Getting a little stronger every day.

Honestly? Same plan for me. 🌱

Rest a little, grow slowly, then it’s holiday prep and getting ready for 2027.

There’s something about the chill in the air, the frost being within sight, and slowly winding down the farm for the season — it feels, almost, peaceful.

Normally I’d be pushing myself to keep going, keep grinding, and keep engaging, and instead, this Fall I’m feeling the need to listen to my intuition (and to Mother Nature’s winding down as well).

While my mind may be busy, I’m excited to take things a LOT slower over the next month, to enjoy our family and space again — for no other reason than to enjoy it.

I hope you find time to slow down and enjoy the natural rhythm of the winding down of the season as well. 🫶
