1. give your MOH's (or most responsible bridesmaid's) phone number to the hair/makeup team weeks before the wedding. if a door needs unlocked or we need a room number, then you are not stuck handling it
2. bring liquid IV packs or gatorade the morning of the wedding. the wedding day has a lot going on, and it's better to stay hydrated while things are still calm (and your 1am self will thank you!)
3. exfoliate and moisturize your face! i love neutrogena's hydro boost gentle exfoliating cleanser as a very basic way to slough off dead skin while also providing some hydration. nothing kills a makeup look more than rough/dry skin
4. write your vows before your wedding day. i know so many brides the morning of the wedding who needed to write their vows, but the photographer was already there and they were also running late for hair/makeup. pour yourself some w**e and write them a month before the wedding!
5. just know a groomsman will forget a tie/ a cousin will randomly not show up/ect. you have worked so hard planning your wedding, and you cannot control other people. you're about to have an unforgettable day, no matter what! 🤍
