I was really inspired by the reaction to my master class at Crown this year, specifically with respect to my Songwriters' Performance Workshop. So much so, that we are working on producing perhaps two or three upcoming workshops that will be held in three locations across the United States. In doing so, I hope to keep the costs down and pass along the savings to future participants making it more affordable for those on modest budgets to attend. Stay tuned for future updates! Jim

Just to let you all know... Antara and I are exploring a number of venues at which to conduct a summer or fall workshop in California... Any ideas or suggestions as to where we might inquire that can lodge at least 12 to 16 participants, has a restaurant in a quite country setting?

Jimmy and I went on a road trip yesterday to tour a possible location for our next workshop. On the way home we talked about some of the concepts he addresses within the songwriter's performance workshop. This describes how an effective song goes "core to core".

We are in the process of updating the Songwriters' Performance Workshop's website. Particularly, its email sign up application. We will look at possibilities as to when and where one will be held looking down the road at perhaps May or June 2015.
